I have had nothing but trouble since buying my Ford Focus in January this year. It keeps breaking down and I have had to have it recovered at least 4 times.
Things are still going wrong after having a new engine fitted as the
technicians seem incompetent, having not fitted parts correctly or tightened them sufficiently.
There is a total lack if Customer care.

Second car bough a gates in Harlow , Second time problems ! Totally disgusting customer care , they sold us a car with break problems! Still under warranty, and told they will replace the hub , but we need to pay for break parts and we have a buckled wheel and want to charge us £682 pounds ? Have taken the car for second opinion , how strange different out come ! And haft the price , plus they say the break disks must have been warn when we got the car ! Will never buy a car from there ever again , complete nonsense saying we would have a long wait for parts as there is a problem at their depo due to asbestos !

This is our fourth new car in five years and we keep coming back to this branch for the great service and friendly people we meet. Ryan helped us again this time choosing our family car which we are very happy with. He is very polite and was very welcoming to assist us even when we went in without an appointment. He is very knowledgeable and honest with his advice and we have always been very thankful to have him as our car salesman.

I only went in for a service .... and ended up getting a new car :) !!!

Ryan at Gates was great. He was very patient with me test driving different cars. He explained everything I needed to know and linked my phone to the car for me. He wasn't at all pushy - there was no pressure to buy. He also didn't talk to down to me as some salesmen do when dealing with women.

Ryan Brown was extremely professional and accommodating in ensuring that i could attend the showroom at a time that worked for me. Even when i had to cancel and re-book he was understanding. His knowledge was vast and advice provided in relation to my new car really helped.

Purchased a Ford Kuga about 3 months ago from Gates needed a new offside mirror lens due to a clipping they ordered the part and it was fitted instantly the next day.Im happy with the deal i got which included a Ford year warranty a full service for the year and a years AA membership,imo its always best to buy from a Ford main dealer like Gates,happy customer

Sascha and the sales manager Tony went above and beyond trying to help me figure out a suitable finance agreement for their brand new Focus ST estate sitting proudly in the showroom. They had a lot of patience with me and were incredibly kind and polite, they weren’t pushy at all and it really did feel like they wanted to actually help me rather than just try to get a sale. Unfortunately due to my own circumstances I wasn’t able to afford the car, but then they even went a step further to try and find an alternative vehicle that may have been more within my price range. I could never fault the service they provide at this branch, I’ve even been taking my current vehicle for servicing and repairs for the last 3 years and everyone has always been so helpful and welcoming. I was going to move away from the Ford brand but it’s safe to say that’ll never happen, it sounds cheesy but they really make you feel like a part of the family here! The showroom is also very clean, and the cars are well presented inside and out. 10/10 service in every aspect!

I have always felt comfortably welcome with Gates' experienced service and showroom staff. Having bought my cars from Ford since 2010, familiarity counts very highly for me.

I took delivery of a used Ford from Gates Waltham Cross on Friday 26th July. I have been dealing with them in 2024 since they relocated from the busy A10 Enfield location. The experience was extremely professional and Customer Friendly. All transactions and test drive went off without any snags or delay. In contrast to other Car Sales companies I have dealt with previously I found it so refreshing to deal with extremely pleasant and efficient staff from sales manager Danny , Mick who dealt with my sale and reception staff. They were always easy to contact by phone or e mail. In writing this review I would also like to include Courtney who dealt with my previous contract earlier in 2024. I would recommend any Ford owner in the Waltham Cross or Waltham Abbey area to use this company for purchase , service and repair.
