I had work done at Gordon Ford

I had work done at Gaudin Ford a few months back. I then misplaced the service invoice. I called them to have them email me a copy and they claimed that they couldn't email me an invoice unless I provided my identification. If I went in person to retrieve that invoice, then I would not need my identification. That made no sense to me. So, after having a conversation with the service manager I stated that whomever I am emailing my personal identification document to that I want that persons bond and insurance information so that I can be protected in case they were to do something malicious with my personal information. Yes, maybe I was being a little unreasonable, but they were being a lot unreasonable considering I was asking for one simple service invoice that would have taken them all of 2 to 5 minutes to send to me. And then what's worse, is I spent at least three hours between being on hold and talking to various personnel with the dealership. I asked to speak to the AGM and the GM and had left multiple messages and no phone calls. They obviously don't care about their customers and their satisfaction. I do a lot of traveling and I have unfortunately had to have service with eight different Ford dealerships and had to request my service invoices from all of them. And guess what? Every single one of them gladly emailed me my service invoices without any push-back whatsoever. There were even a couple dealerships in there that claimed they did not have my email on file and they simply asked for it and sent me the invoices. Gaudin Ford claims that the law states they have to retrieve identification before providing the invoices. That very well could be true so then provide your bond and insurance information and everything would have been good. That should have been a reasonable task for an unreasonable stance. I will never be back, I will make sure all of my friends and relatives don't ever purchase a vehicle from Gaudin Ford and, hopefully all of you reading this online will also not purchased from them! All because the management did not care to discuss this situation with me. Imagine others who have other situations and need to speak with management; good luck with that! Hopefully Gaudin Ford is happy now! I can see why their reviews are so bad!

Reply from Gaudin Porsche of Las Vegas

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are very sorry to hear about the frustrating experience you had with your service invoice and the lack of communication from management. However, it appears there has been a mix-up. This review was posted to Gaudin Porsche of Las Vegas, and not with Gaudin Ford. It sounds like your experience took place at their dealership, and we would hate for your feedback to go unseen by the correct team or to inadvertently impact our business’s standing. We recommend reaching out to Gaudin Ford directly or posting your review on their specific business profile so they can address your concerns. We wish you the best of luck in getting your documents sorted out!

Best regards,

Jay

Trust(pilot) worthy parts department

I live in the Midwest, but buy 95% of my Porsche parts from Gaudin. Parts guys know their stuff, make sound recommendations, and ship promptly at prices, including shipping, less than my local dealer. FIVE STARS!
