Gegründet im April 2026 in Berlin von einem Solo-Entwickler, betrieben ohne Investoren, ohne Werbung und ohne Datenverkauf. Der bewusste Gegenentwurf zu den etablierten Gay-Apps: Anders als bei Grindr oder Romeo gibt es bei Gaylupe kein Premium-Modell, keine Bezahlschranke und kein Credit-System. Profile anlegen, Nachrichten unbegrenzt schreiben, Bildergalerien nutzen, gezielt nach Nähe oder Interessen suchen — alle Funktionen sind dauerhaft kostenlos und für alle Mitglieder gleich. Was Gaylupe technisch anders macht: Die Plattform läuft als moderne Progressive Web App auf einem Server in Deutschland (IONOS), DSGVO-konform und ohne Drittanbieter-Tracker. Kein Google Analytics, kein Facebook-Pixel, keine Werbenetzwerk-Cookies. Profile sind durch eine dreischichtige Indexierungssperre vor öffentlicher Auffindbarkeit geschützt. Bot- und Fake-Schutz: Jeder Account muss innerhalb einer Stunde per E-Mail bestätigt werden, sonst wird er automatisch gelöscht. Verdächtige Profile werden vom Moderationsteam manuell geprüft. Inklusivität ohne Käfig: Schwul, bi, trans, queer — alle Männer, die Männer mögen, sind willkommen. Keine engen Kategorien, kein Hookup-Druck.
