Terrible customer service and awful company to deal with
I ordered a diary and a kaweco x moleskine pen. The diary arrived in good shape and customised as ordered, but the pen did not arrive at all. Moleskine asked me to sign a declaration to this effect, but since doing so, and despite several chasers, they have gone to ground and refuse to send a replacement item, or issue a refund. Appalling service and that will be the last Moleskine item I ever purchase.
Awful customer service. Contacted several times about a diary undelivered. No reply, no refund , no diary. Goodbye Moleskine 20 years of been a loyal customer gone
After a very long wait, I received two notebooks different from what I ordered, I have already sent 5 messages to their customer service so I can return them for a refund and they always say that I'd be contacted by the department in charge but I never was.
Do NOT BUY from Moleskine UK.
The first notebook took nearly five weeks to arrive and it was badly damaged. The replacement took over six weeks to arrive. Never again. Dreadful service.
I ordered a diary for 2021 on 29th December. It is the 22nd January and it still hasn't arrived. They have sighted difficulty with delivery from the HQ in Italy as the reason behind delay without any idea on when it will be resolved, no offer of compensation and no real intent to resolve the issue. I therefore requested a refund and was sent this message:
"Hi Richard We do not have a specific date to indicate for a possible refund, however, it will be our care to provide you with further information as soon as more details will be available. We apologize again for the issue you are experiencing, which is out of our control, nevertheless, our aim is to provide you with a possible solution and in the shortest possible time. We will get back to with further details!"
Any other brand would consider giving a refund and also the above but they have shown me that this isn't on their radar.
I must stress that moleskine products are high quality and I have been using moleskine diaries/ notebooks for years. It is only because of the pandemic that I decided to order DIRECTLY from moleskine. I will never make this mistake again, and from now on, I will use alternative products as a matter of principle if this isn't sorted....
The customer service was very good, the journal is typical great Moleskine quality but the embossing of the name looks terrible and nothing as good as I'd hoped. I sent a photo of the first job, they sent a second but it's no better? If the quality was as expected, I wished they'd have told me. Maybe the product just isn't suitable for embossing. :(
Moleskine should be ashamed of the treatment of their customers. I made an order two months ago for two diaries that I have not yet received. I have had to continuously email customer care for an update or a refund, to which I have either been given a vague response saying that they are waiting for information from the courier or I have not received a response at all. I requested to speak to a senior member of staff, which was ignored. It is appalling to think that this company would take money from customers, fail to deliver the product and not provide a refund.
Absolutely horrible customer care. Actually it shouldn't be called care at all. Anger inducing services for customers more like it.
I bought a Smart Writing Set (Pen+) at a store that was not working. When I tried to contact customer care, they were sending delayed messages back and forth and gave me a 0844 to arrange pickup which then cost a fortune to arrange the pick up. And they will send me a new pen when they receive the defective one in Korea. Right...
Absolutely terrible and ludicrous service experience. I really aspired to be more of their customer and was saving up for a moleskine bag. Now I am not going anywhere near any of their shops again from the looks of it.
Terrible customer service!!
Ordered a personalised item. Received something that was not. The company has horrible support that was not helpful at all, trying to prove that I was crazy. In addition to that, they asked me to return the item and cover the cost of returning them.
Disappointing is not a word that describes my feelings.
I wouldn't recommend to anyone and I would avoid for ever.
