Sold my house with GD which was ok (just) so decided to stick with what you know to buy, bad mistake, unanwsered emails for weeks on end, fobbed off on the phone dealt with 3 different solicitors all round bad experience would i recommed no..

Warning – Do Not Use This Firm

We instructed GD Legal to handle the legal work for a buy-to-let property purchase, which was unregistered at the time. Despite paying them to resolve this, more than two years later the property is still not registered.

Due to the lack of progress and communication, we escalated the matter to the Financial Ombudsman. GD Legal paid compensation following our complaint, but the core issue remains unresolved.

As a result, we are still unable to secure a mortgage on the property, leaving us in a very difficult financial position.

This situation has caused significant stress and financial hardship. I would strongly advise others to avoid using this firm.

Excellent service from start to finish, they dealt with both the sale of our property and the purchase of the new one. Communication was perfect, we new at every stage of the process where we were and what the next steps were going to be. Highly recommend. Thank you Abdul and Shahla for your professionalism.

Abdul was very helpful, polite and respectful, he explained all the details so that I was kept aware of all the stages of the sale. His communications were excellent.

Avoid at all costs. Don't respond to emails within 2 days as promised, calls aren't returned. Terrible service, incomplete forms sent across, constantly chasing for answers to legitimate questions, being told to chase up information ourselves regarding road adoption regarding a new build. Sent over a contract the night before and expected us just sign (where one of the 100 plus conditions of the contract conditions stated the developer could move boundaries lines without any recompense to ourselves). We withdrew from the purchase sale due to concerns about potential future costs involved in maintaining an unadopted road, (something which they didn't even highlight)but the company had already contacted our bank without our permission to withdraw money on our mortgage offer, (before exchange of contracts) which has cost us not only time but now money as well as we now can't transfer our mortgage offer. Got charged full amount anyway. Absolutely useless company. Why not contact your dissatisfied customers instead of asking them to phone you? Don't you respect their time?

Absolutely fantastic and efficient service from Abdul and his team as usual. Third time we are using their conveyancing services as a family and they've been great. Thanks to Shannon too for prompt communication.

This company lost my decree absolute whilst this was due to Royal Mail. They made it my problem. No offer to apply to courts for a new copy of my decree absolute and supply a copy of birth certificate. They left it to me. Given they are dealing with a sale and purchase impression so far are bad. Made little effort to contact me for searches on buying property
