The work was to fit an electric car charger. The quote was very competitive so we went ahead.

A date was fixed and the work commenced. Initially a untethered charger (i.e. no lead) was fitted but, after discussion, we agreed that a tethered charger had been ordered. A replacement was sourced and was fitted Easter Monday!

Overall, we were very pleased and would wholeheartedly recommend them.

I've used GEC for 15 years since we renovated our house and they have always delivered as promised. Friendly, helpful & extremely efficient. I would highly recommend them.

Rain caused a short in the downstairs sockets out of hours. GEC were brilliant and super efficient. Will came over late on a Friday, was very professional and super efficient fixing the problem

We recently had our Grade II listed home fully rewired by Electricians GEC, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Larry did a fantastic job planning the project — he really listened to everything we wanted and made sure the approach respected both the house and our needs as a family living in it during the work.
Will and Barry carried out the installation swiftly, courteously, and with real care. They were always respectful of our home and made a huge effort to minimise disruption, which made a big difference — especially with kids around, who they made a great impression on!
It’s rare to find a team that combines professionalism, skill, and genuine consideration for the people they’re working with. We feel very lucky to have had them and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Electricians GEC.

Paul at GEC Electrical Contractors was very quick to reply positively to my email and the work was quickly arranged and then carried out very competently by Will who was also polite and efficient. GEC came to evaluate what needed doing to fit our security camera and Mark took care to listen to what I wanted and advise on positions of cables etc.
The engineer sent to do the work (Jake?)couldn't have been more helpful. He did the job, helped me set up the monitoring on my phone and also fitted the doorbell linked to the same system.
Lovely to deal with an competent company with such helpful staff.

The problem with the nest doobell was quickly identified and resolved. The issue was explained very clearly and a solution soon found. We have always found this company to be very professional and reliable and we shall continue to call upon them for any electrical work.

Very happy with the service will could not of been more polite and helpful thankyou will quick response from Paul after bad experience with another company after ordering cooker and expecting insulation which was not the case I called Paul today and he got back to me straight away saying he could send someone out today which he did and I’m so pleased Thankyou to you both

Before go ahead for these project, we have research from the market and made a comparison list, e.g. what's the popular brand offered, what grade and number of solar panels, type of inverter, battery capacity etc. Every contractors look the same....

Lots of contractors here, they might have competitive quotation in terms of price, might have nice interactive quotation generated by Microsoft Power BI etc. But I need one with good review and really used by the person we know.

From quotation stage to the end, everything is quick and systematic. GEC is helpful to explain various systems and tailor-made to our need.

GEC has good project manager to monitor the timeline to ensure everything is on track. The whole team is more than professional, they are friendly and polite, keep the workplace safe and tidy.

I find it quite difficult to get contractors todo small jobs. GEC have a receptionist who ensures you get a reply. From phone call to appointment was 2 days. William came and tested our circuit board to diagnose a problem. He couldn’t have been nicer or more professional if he’d tried. He explained everything he was doing in terms I could understand. A service that exceeded all of my expectations. Thank you!

We have just had a new underfloor heating system installed alongside an existing heating system in an old house. We have always used GEC in the 33 years we have lived here and would never use anyone else.

Very happy. In particular I was pleased with the prep work that went into the job. The team turned up know what was expected, did the work and left my home tidy. I will use GEC again.

Just about a year ago I asked GEC to extend my existing battery storage and at the same time install a new EV charger. Right from the outset, their man Mark was super efficient and professional while also being helpful and extremely knowledgeable, advising me well on all issues of technology selection and installation. I have a disabled sone who gets stressed when the power goes off, but the GEC team that did the work were very understanding and went out of their way to do an excellent job, working around my Son's needs. Their work was neat, looks great and they also did an excellent job of clearing up! Post install, Mark was also really helpful with all aspects of system registration and went out of his way to make sure that I was happy and had all that I needed in order to operate the new system. A year on and it is all working just as it should. I have since recommended friends who have been similarly impressed with the fantastic service offered by GEC.

Excellent firm, arrived very swiftly to solve a tricky and hard-to-trace fault cutting the mains to our house. Couldn't have been more helpful and efficient.
