Disappointed to receive store credit rather than refund, read the small print. lesson learned

I recently ordered 2 items which were not suitable so sent them back, I was shocked to receive a credit note, I had not read the small print and had not realised that was what I would get instead of a refund. I can't find anything on the site I would like to buy and despite getting emails telling there is new stock, there is nothing new to buy . So I'm stuck with £29 of store credit that I will probably never use. Lesson learned.

I bought what looked like a nice pink…

I bought what looked like a nice pink lounge wear when it arrived it was awful - very cheap see through material - stitching was appalling - it cost a lot more than it looked - to be honest it was as bad as cheap open air market clothes I'm very shocked that the diva herself would be ok with the rubbish quality of her clothes line!!!! NEVER buy from the GC clothing line

Awful Customer Service

My friend bought me a lounge suit for Christmas which is unwearable because the glitter keeps coming off of it. And I don’t mean a little bit!! I mean it sheds everywhere!! It can’t be worn. I contacted customer services and got no response, so 2 weeks later I emailed again and finally got a response which was generic and didn’t answer my issue. I emailed again 2 weeks ago for clarity and I’m still waiting!! So 4 weeks in total with no answer and a lounge suit that can’t be worn. If I could give 0 stars I would. Truly awful. I think the attitude is that if they just ignore my email then I’ll give up. If I had bought this myself I would have instructed the credit card company to dispute the sale as it’s not fit for purpose.
