I was using a few different wallets over the past years. Genome looks simple and easy to understand, with many more features coming out soon. Charges are not high compared to well-known banking apps. Great job guys!

This "bank" is a joke!

I have tried many times now to top up my account so that it can be closed, even though I have never used it. None of my cards will work, but they work everywhere else.. Online and ATM. I guess VISA also believes the "bank" to be dodgy. I made every effort to pay this ridiculous fee for an account that was never used, but have been unable to and tried once again to request that they close the account to prevent further fees accruing. Absolute joke!

Scammers and ID thieves

Scammers and ID thieves. Avoid this "financial service" like the "virus" we all hate. Most likely a front for Nigerian or Russian fraudsters. Sadly for me, I did not read any reviews before giving them my passport ID card as "verification" to open an account.
Five minutes after it was accepted, I received an mail that my "verification had failed." At least I did not provide them with anything else they could sell to the Russians, but I will have to watch my accounts carefully now, for the next few months.
When I demanded that they delete my information from my server, they replied "We have the RIGHT to keep it." Really? Who gave you that right?
Prince Abdullah of Nigeria replied: "The Bank of Lithuania did!"
You have been warned, folks. Almost HALF of all their reviews are extremely negative, ONE STAR reviews. Why do you think that is? Stay away from this joke of an Identity theft service.

Very bad, not worth trying

One more amateurish and paranoid so called "E‑money institution" from Lithuania.
Stay away from them - your account will not last long, eventually they will find it "suspicious" and close.
My account was closed after one and only transfer of 50 (FIFTY!) EUR.
Companies like that popup like mushrooms and disappear fast, not worth trying.

Update: Following Genome reply: It seems like if you make a SEPA transfer of 50 (FIFTY) EUR to your Genome account they will call it "suspicious activity" and close your account. That's what they did in my case. 50 EUR SEPA transfer was the one and only activity on my account before they closed it.

BEWARE!! This is not a bank and they try to stole your money!

I have applied to this site thinking it was a bank. I have applied with my company and personally.
Compliane has got months over months, they asked me sensitive documentation about my clients without any respect of GDPR and Privacy Fundamental Polices.
After got the bank account, first payments were blocked for several weeks with excuses and after that they have sent back money to my clients without any kind of preadvice, even if i asked them to be careful cause of penalties but they dropped all and no explanations.
After that, i got a payment on personal account and they started iper investigation and at the end they blocked all.
Both account closed and a lot of money stoled as commissions.

BEWARE BY THESE IMPOSTEURS!!! You are adviced now

Worst experience ever!!!!
So I had some money in my PayPal account that I got from a refund . I needed to transfer this somewhere but since my personal iban was already used on a separate PayPal account I needed a new one . I found genome, transferred the money and it came in a day . Then genome have now held the money for over 1 month . Their customer service is slow and unresponsive . They beat around the bush and do not get straight to the point . They’ll ask a question , I’ll respond I’ll wait like 3 days and then they’ll ask another question . They can’t just ask for all the information at once . This is dragging on and chances of me seeing my funds are vague . Please I highly recommend avoiding this service and they have no issue holding your funds for upwards of a month . Not good !!!

Good service

This company popped up on my Linkedin feed and I thought I'd give it a shot since I was looking for a new alternative bank account for my company. So far so good. SEPA payments are executed as in any other bank, pricing is reasonable, Support is really helpful. A bit sad that they don't have cards yet, only pre-order but regardless of that the service is really good. Looking forward to SWIFT, as Support told me it's coming soon... ? Didn't use my personal account that much though, so it's only about the business account.

IT IS A SCAM!

Once your account gets credited they will block it and say they need to investigate it. They will also ask for the "documentation" for the transfer even when your grandmother sends you 100 Euros for your birthday. This "company" claims to be "registered financial service" but let's not forget that all of the scamming companies are somehow "registered" somewhere. They only collect information, documentation, people's ID's and blocking your account. Don't be surprised if you will fall an identity theft victim one day. DON'T TRUST THEM, DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM OR YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY!
