Opened my eyes
This was a wonderful experience for me. It explained to me why fad diets never worked for me. Now I know what genetically works for me. Awesome.

Stay away from this
I've taken this and used it, got my "results" back and I had ordered the vitamins package as well. the vitamins never arrived, no one answers the phone, no ticket has been handled to address the flagrant issue of stealing money from people. Athos seems as its a massive scam and plays people

Absolutely vital information!
I felt my results made sense and were very useful for me. I will be following the recommended foods list and I have a feeling it will only prove to help me feel better, and get rid of many symptoms I currently have. It confirmed my suspicion of having a gluten sensitivity! And also my alcohol tolerance and how my system reacts to it was so good to learn. This is GREAT for me. I will be avoiding gluten now for sure. Great information and quick too! I already had DNA results from Ancestry's DNA program so it was very affordable and well worth the price.

I was very happy with the results and it encouraged both my husband and I to make healthier choices when it comes to food.

I could never see the consultation link. i downloaded the app, but it didn't take me anywhere. I got emails telling me to get ready, but there was no link. I have no idea what these folks are doing. I don't know if it's me or them, but I expected an easier way to view whatever this "consultation" was about.

This is an awful service
This is an awful service! Customer service is non-existent joke. I ordered a test kit with my whole family, but I still haven’t received the results weeks after my whole family has... I wrote to the company and I got the standard “because of covid yadda yadda blah blah blah” and “we will email you when it’s ready.” Well, I hate to break it to you, but your site says 3-4 weeks and if that isn’t correct, you should modify the time frame published so that your customers don’t feel cheated.

Worth Attending
Good information to help understand results more clearly.

Not sure about this
Not sure about this. It seems more generalize than specific. Seems like everyone is low fat high carb. Has anyone else gotten different results?? Looks like all their replies say the same thing as well.

detailed and easy
The diet is very detailed, explained why certain foods are beneficial, and the app is easy to use.

It is useful to know which foods are…
It is useful to know which foods are good for me, but I want to know which ones to avoid and which are neutral and they do not list those. So there is room for improvement there.
Also, I have had two previous DNA tests (pertaining to diet) and they both came up with the same results. However GenoPalate's results differ from theirs.

The host did a great job -- but your algorithm maybe needs work (so does your app)
The host did a great job, but I have questions -- as did other participants -- about how advice is rendered by GenoPalate. I just read an article today about the Dirty Dozen, for example, with strawberries being rated as the worst offender of all of the fruits and vegetables of carrying pesticides. Even though that is the case, GenoPalate still recommends it as the BEST in my particular case. IMO, the fact that strawberries (in this example) is one of the worst offenders should enter your algorithm and render it less than the best. At the very least, put an asterisk by it and alert the consumer (me!) that even though strawberries are good for me, the way they arrive on the grocery store shelves has been widely shown to be BAD for me. This is a gaping hole in your recommendation list and potentially exposes your customers to bad health impacts -- and I know you are striving to do the opposite. Also, the host was showcasing your app for iPhone while she was demonstrating the report, but my app would constantly throw up a screen which I was unable to X out of, thus causing me to have to get out of the app numerous times, sign in again, and navigate to where I was. It was distracting and I'm sure others are experiencing it too. Just wanted to bring it to your attention.

Conflicted by the False Confidence in Recommendations
Kaitland Woelky was well-spoken, well-organized, and delivered a thorough presentation of how to navigate the Geno Palate information. She gets an A in my book. Yet I remained disappointed in the product itself, I guess. As written in private Q to her as well as in advance of the meeting when I registered for it, I knew (and your test confirmed) that I have the MthFr variant and should consume extra natural folate. I also know that it is advisable that I should avoid folic acid, which is present in all fortified breads and pastas. I was surprised that these would be recommended to me. Of course, she showed me how to use the filters, but that is not relevant to my point... in that I'd need to know for myself to avoid that food... despite Geno Palate recommending it to me. Even upon clicking on "wheat bagel" for example (which Geno Palate identified as a "Best Match" for me), there is nothing indicating that there might be a red flag, so to speak. It makes the rest of the report somewhat suspect to me, significantly affecting my ability to trust the recommendations. I had hoped Geno Palate would develop my understanding, but it is a let down. It expects me to know what I should filter from the recommendations. I do appreciate the ability to do research on my own on the genetic variants provided.

Scam alert!
Scam alert!! The promotion for “ free” supplement is misleading. They say you can cancel anytime. They offer a 1 month free vitamin “ customized” to you but you are sent a 3 month supply so regardless of whether you want to continue you must pay 2 months. Expensive for what is offered. Beware of this offer. Between that snd the list of foods they say I should eat but haven’t heard of or recipes that don’t include anything I already have in my home. I don’t have junk food here. Lots of quality foods but none they recommend...
Definitely wasn’t worth the money.

Don't waste your time or money
Don't waste your time or money. This report failed to include any sensitivity information. The disclaimer on site states that you'll be notified if they cannot obtain a result, or you won't be charged. Flat false. I obtained no specialized result and was told too bad, and instead basically received USDA food intake recommendations. PASS!

the nutrient suggestions seem pointless
Great to see genetic indicators of lactose intolerance and gluten sensitivity. All the stuff about specific amounts of carbs, omega-3s, and other nutrient intake suggestions seem very generic and give me no good reason to take them seriously.
