I purchased two dresses on June 25th and two days later I received and email that my order had shipped with an additional email from Gentle Herd stating that one of the dresses was out of stock so they would be issuing me a refund in 7-15 working days. I received the dress on July 12th and it doesn’t match the color on their site, additionally they cut the tags out of the dress. It is now July 20th and I haven’t received the refund for the dress I didn’t receive. I just opened up a PayPal dispute against them because they aren’t responding to my emails. Buyer beware! Seriously, buy from another shop, this is clearly a China based company selling cheap products that they markup. The quality of images is inaccurate, the quality of the products is mediocre, and the quality of customer service is trash!!

I bought a cashmere cardigan. Lovely and soft, but it shed worse than a fluffy pet! Dreadful quality fabric. The first wash left a pile of fluff in the machine and there is fluff everywhere. I can't recommend the alleged cashemere.

Ordered a product 2 weeks ago, and got a non functioning tracking number. No reply from "customer support"

Ordered a coat, was too large, emailed them to find out how to return for a refund a week after receiving. NO reply, followed up again a week later still NO reply.
After reading all these reviews wish I had never purchased it - terrible customer service and would not reccommend or buy from ever again

Absolutely horrible customer service, DO NOT BUY. I rarely write negative reviews, but this company got me really angry.

I purchased a pair of trousers from them on 14th of March. They arrived on 5th of April in the incorrect colour and poorer quality than in the website images. Upon emailing the company, I was quickly emailed back by someone named Carol and told to send them back to the US at my own expense (I live in Australia) and be reimbursed for everything later. I very wearily did this which was both expensive and time consuming. The item was received by them 19th of April.

From there out I had a total of 27 emails sent chasing the refund which was partially completed by the 26th of May. I then had to continue to chase to get the shipping reimbursed. I was continually asked for my paypal details (already sent) and that the refund would be processed in 8-15 business days (which it never was). I moved from polite to flat out angry during this drawn-out process.

I also spoke with an influencer who used to promote some of their products. She has said she had to block Gentleherd from all her socials as they used her photos without her consent.

Terrible company. Unclear if a total scam? BUYER BEWARE.

I placed my order on March 27 for 3 items, received 2 items, when i asked about the 3rd they said processing.
I have been waiting since April 14, a month!!!!, and nothing have been sent.
The items I received are rubbish, my size is medium, and they are too loose they dont fit, the cut of the pants is nothing like their website not even remotely close. Never will i ever buy again from this website.

This company is a joke, and I am almost certain that their product reviews are fake. I ordered a pair of pants from them at the beginning of March and they arrived about 2 weeks later. I don't know what I expected, but ordering from them was definitely a mistake because the item that arrived was junk. The website claimed the pants were made from cotton, but when I received them it felt like some cheap plastic raincoat material. The worst part is that the pants were completely see-through and totally thin. I sent them back for a partial refund, but I honestly ended up wasting my own time and money on this. The only reason I ordered is because the reviews of that specific product sounded great, but again, I am realizing that they were probably all fake. Save yourself the hassle and don't bother with gentle herd.

I seem to have had a different experience than others who reviewed this company. I found the quality to be very good - and I buy cashmere from many high end outlets. The shipping is a tad slow, I agree, but I think we have become so accustomed to the "next day" from Amazon and others. As long as I know it is going to be a bit longer, I am ok. But what really made me happy was handling returns. The size was wrong on a few items. I thought - oh dear, this is going to be a nightmare. Well, it was not. You do have to pay return postage, but so far the return process has been just fine. Finally, every one of my emails to them is answered - almost the next day. With helpful instructions. That is impressive to me. So I will continue to order from them! (and I am in no way connected to them or incentivized to write this)

Not good. I ordered pairs of trouser and the material was not the same in the photo. It’s poorly made clothing for outrageous prices. I had previously wrote a review for 1 star but they have since replied and said they would allow me to return all the trousers. It just took a bit of hassle.
I ordered two sets of pants. The first set I ordered had yet to come but the second set arrived, which I placed that order several days after the first. The shipping is very slow.
All the products have ridiculously high stars with 0 disappointment ratings bc they can approve reviews. But all of these reviews have higher dislikes than likes on the comments.

This is the worst! I am waiting for a sweater for 3 months now. The customer service is really annoying. I cancelled the order twice and this was ignored. Carol just told me to wait patiently! This is their pattern, obviously!

I should have checked the reviews before ordering now that I experienced their service it doesn’t surprise me. After waiting for my items for months they sent me the wrong items and despite me sending a proof of postage for returned items they are refusing to send the correct items and refund me for the refund I have paid and now I am going to have to wait for months again before I have the correct items. Absolutely disgusted with their service. Will never use again

I ordered $700 worth of clothing items from this company on 16 Dec22 and it has still not arrived - currently at 3 months . I have lodged a PayPal dispute and have escalated further . Never 👎🏿 buy anything !

DO NOT ORDER FEOM HERE. Placed an order. Never received notification it shipped. When contacted they said it was already delivered and to contact USPS. Worked with USPS and they said to reach out to company for refund. They send the same generated response over and over. Good luck get any sort of customer service.

This company is dodgy AF. They very clearly ship straight from China (which is fine) but lack all of the customer service that a North American company would offer. Firstly, their sizing is ridiculously small. I got pants that would surely only fit a tiny asian person.
Secondly, they originally told me that my order was out of stock and would be cancelled, but then shipped it out without telling me anyways. When I sent them back for return they had them for about two weeks without issuing a refund, I had to contact them to get the refund issued. When they finally issued the refund the amount was wrong. I'd avoid, not worth the hassle.

Measures in cm on the homepage are incorrect. I extra-measured myself to make sure I order the correct size, but the item had different sizes on arrival (far too small).

The return policy is "write an e-mail" but they have not answered for a week. Not serious. By in Germany... because the item comes from China and this is why they do not take care of returns.

Do not order from this company. Not reputable. Products do not arrive as promised. I am still waiting for for an order that is reported to have shipped 25 days ago and is still stuck in China with no accurate tracking. The company is refusing to provide a refund.

Company would not deliver to a PO Box but only my home, despite my requests. Courier made no attempt to contact me so item was returned to sender and now I’m paying for delivery. For nothing. 2 stars for polite customer service. But otherwise don’t bother.

I also ordered from them 2 weeks ago, have received "confirmation" with a "tracking number" but no shipping company listed. The product description led me to believe it was a sweater made in Ireland but I see now it's coming from China. VERY misleading. Don't know if I'll ever see the product.
