I'd been looking for weeks for a pair of Carrera sunglasses from the 90s, a discontinued model that's no longer available in opticians. I stumbled across this shop by chance, and the experience was fantastic. The owner helped me with the purchase process and getting the right size. The sunglasses are 100% authentic (verified by the authenticity marks and the original case). Shipping was fast and the sunglasses were well-protected. It's very reassuring to know the owner is so involved. I highly recommend them.

I can’t recommend Filip and the team at Genuine Vintage Sunglasses highly enough. They went above and beyond to source a specific pair for me that wasn’t in stock, and managed to do so within 24 hours. Communication was excellent throughout, and delivery was incredibly fast. If you’re looking for vintage sunglasses, GVS is absolutely the company to trust.
I would give zero if I could. Filip Scrayen who trades under Genuine Vintage Sunglasses totally ignores customers requests and in doing so has failed to comply with legislation that states a customer has the right to cancel within 14 days for a full refund.
I in fact gave him plenty of notice to cancel my order (WITHIN 8 HOURS of purchasing and before they’d even been shipped) but he categorically refused to and told me he was still going to post them the next day and not refund my €305.
He has been informed several times that I refused delivery; the courier has evidence they were not delivered and that a refund should be sent in full…again he has not fulfilled this. I am going to take this to Financial Ombudsman, EU Trading Standards and if needed to court.
It’s such a shame I was not treated fairly, as the sunglasses I ordered were not the right pair and I had fully intended to use the company again in the future to reorder the correct ones. I would not go anywhere near them, after the disgraceful customer service

On cancellation: You requested cancellation within 8 hours of purchase. Under EU consumer law, the 14‑day right of withdrawal applies from the date of delivery, not from the date of purchase. Once an order has been processed and prepared for shipment, cancellation is at the seller's discretion. Our shop policies clearly state and outline the return procedure – which you were free to follow after receiving the item.
On refusal of delivery: You admit you refused delivery. That was your choice. Courier records confirm that delivery was attempted, you refused to pay the customs import fee, and you rejected the package. Under our terms, a buyer who refuses delivery and refuses to pay customs fees forfeits any right to a refund, because the seller incurs substantial return shipping costs through no fault of their own.
On EU consumer law: Our policies fully comply with EU regulations. The right of withdrawal is not an unconditional cancellation right before shipment; it allows you to return an item AFTER receiving it. You chose to refuse delivery instead of accepting the package and following our return process. That is not a failure on our part.
On your payment disputes: You opened various false disputes (PayPal) claiming non‑delivery and a "not as described" claim. Tracking shows delivery was attempted and you refused it. Those disputes were resolved in our favour because your claims were false. Posting a misleading public review while simultaneously filing false disputes may constitute abuse of platform policies and potentially providing false information to a financial institution. We have retained all records, including your cancellation request, courier delivery logs, refusal of customs import fees, and the dispute outcomes.
