Smooth Ordering from Abroad and Great Cupcakes!

I am UK-based and ordered cupcakes from Georgetown for my son’s 21st bday (he is a student, US-based). The flavour range was brilliant and ordering online was easy. A day after placing the order, I emailed to move the delivery date forward by 1 day and got a prompt reply with a confirmation of the change. Cupcakes arrived on time, well packaged with ice packs (we watched him opening during a video call). My son was very happy indeed! Impressed with the service. Would recommend and would definitely use again!

I attempted to correct an error

I attempted to correct a mistake on an online order. Called many times. No one ever answered. Sent email. No one ever answered. Tried to go through their website. Couldn't. Absolutely the worst customer service experience.

No delivery and no communication

Ordered two deliveries from Georgetown Cupcake through Goldbelly 12/9/24 to ensure delivery by Christmas. Chose 12/18/24 as delivery date. Order was not delivered 12/18 so I sent a message on Goldbelly requesting an update. Logged onto Goldbelly 12/20 to check for a response and they canceled my orders. No email, no courtesy call, nothing. Had to find other gifts that delivered by Christmas and ended up paying $50 for expedited shipment for delivery by 12/25. Will not order from this business or Goldbelly again.

Great Cupcakes - Terrible Customer Service

This review is aimed at the customer service. I want to be fair, the cupcakes are delicious, but the Customer Services is unresponsive. I placed an order in December to send Cupcakes to Friends and Family. 12 of the 14 orders were delivered. I inquired no less than 6 times for the status of the last 2 orders, all to no avail. I sent emails, follow up, use the mobile app but could not leave VM since there is no VM box. The last two orders were never delivered. I had to contact my CC for a reversal of charges. I have not been contacted by Georgetown Cupcakes and I will take my Company's business with me elsewhere (418 orders last year).
