I bought a very expensive Levo stand up wheelchair a few years ago after a home visit from this dealer. Out of desperation and wanting a forward tilt to offload some pressure from my bottom and to be able to stand up I decided to buy this wheelchair.

Within a few weeks I realized it was not suitable for me and did not fit me properly. It could not stand me upright because of the pressure on my upper shins. It could not allow me to extend or elevate my legs, making my knee contracture worse.

I asked for a refund or buy back within a few weeks of buying it, claiming it was not fit for purpose. It was as new. My requests were refused. I will let you draw your own conclusions about how this dealer treated a vulnerable, severely disabled person.

I showed the Levo C3 to another dealer who was also physically disabled. He had a very low opinion of it. I asked several dealers what they would offer me for it. None of them would offer me anything. Eventually, I had to sell it at an auction for less than about 5% of what I paid for it. It was then only about a year old .

I then bought another very expensive standing wheelchair direct from Permobil ,the F5 Corpus VS, that allowed me to elevate and extend my legs and stand me up. The Permobil F6 Corpus VS is a good wheelchair.
Unlike the Levo C3 the Permobil F5 VS has benefited me and got me upright and without crushing my shins on the upper shin blocks. It has also not made my knee contractures worse .

My advice, ask the dealer for a guarantee they will buy back the wheelchair, and how much for, eg within 6 months of purchase and get it in writing . Good luck.

I just recently purchased an Una Wheel for my RGK wheelchair. This piece of technology has transformed my life in London. I have so much more freedom now and can access parts of London that I'd never been able to access before. I feel like a "normal" person commuting, with nothing "special" having to be organised for me. This technology is neat and compact. I have some thoughts around how to enhance the product further. I am also hoping that this piece of technology will be more competitively priced in the near future so that more wheelchairs users will be able to benefit from it like I have done.
