Phenomenal!!! My dad has the remote on lock. The immediate setting enables him to call his friends freely and watch in sync. He's able to tune into channels throughout Germany and he gets his fix of Bundesliga.

Evil freaks that dont understand how to act like human beings.

Regular channels are great, but my favored channel, Heimatkanal, is lousy. It stops all the time.

This was a great tv service but it’s now offline. Is there any suitable replacement that exists to stream German language show and movies?

Looks like all of us have the same problem. I activated automated payment 2 days before they vanished. Does anybody know if they still charge? I contacted my bank of course, but the company charged with a check payment. Its totally strange.

The PlayG app disappeared today from our Android devices. Are we out of luck or is there another way to view the German TV Company in the U.S.?

We have been trying to download PlayG app on our apple iPad no luck. I watched German TV for few years on my iPad now not able to download new app. Help

To be honest, as a German living in Turkey, I think, they have a serious media license problem, thats why it is off from one second to the other. There is no other logical reason, technical problems dont take so long time, and when you have technical problems, E-Mail support worksm, but their whole homepage is off.

I feel very sorry, not just about my payment, but i love this service, and unfortunately I didnt find any comparable service like German TC company.

I think, when they return, it will be dfferent name, homepage etc.

I called the company, plugged my phone in, and just waited. After 25 minutes, someone picked up, but the gentleman's English was so bad that he neither understood what I was saying nor could express what the problem was or exactly when it was going to be fixed. Waste of time.

I downloaded Play G TV from Google Playstore on my phone and am able to watch it, but I don't know what show is on because I can't get the program guide at all and can't go back in time, so what's the use.

I wish the company would just say when or if the service is back on LIKE BEFORE or if it is NOT COMING BACK LIKE THAT, SO I CQN CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION.

I’m sooooooooo angry! Been trying to call nonstop for 4 days nobody answers ! No service ! We just paid almost $300 in December to renew my yearly subscription and nothing works ! I hope you fix this problem fast !!!!!

I understand the problems your are going through. We tried to install the app but we could not even access the Google Play Store from my mother's Android box. It was deactivated. We finally managed to get there, just to be told, you have to log in. Logged in with the registered gmail account. Now it won't let us search for the app, just gives suggestions. I found the app online but I do not want it downloaded to computer. I want it downloaded to my mother's Android box so she can use it from there. With her 82 years, she does not have the computer knowledge to do all this workaround, and not everybody is familiar with an Android box and Google Play.

I tried posting link in Google Playstore search for Play G TV and log in with the germantv info.
But I have a question, what do we do on our Samsung TV I cannot locate that app there.

Very sad to see that German TV is off line. I have had service for 7 years with no major problems. Hoopefully it returns soon.

Cannot log on since yesterday. Paid on the 10th of January (luckily) for only 30 days but still, have I lost 20 days worth of my money? No advance email notification that they are shutting down service...what the heck??!!! Pretty sorry in my opinion!

My dad loved German TV. I paid the entire year as well and passed by their store and they are permanently closed. This company is based out of Brooklyn, NY. Their address is 1404 Avenue Z. The store was called TechStudio.

After additional research, I noticed they also did Polish and Ukranian TV. I called the phone numbers listed for them as well and it does not even ring.

Same problem as everyone else no communication cannot logon I just hope this is temporary

Signed up for German TV in Dec. 2021 and paid the 299.99 dollar annual fee. Today Jan 19 2022 they are no longer in service and their website is disconnected. Phone number won't ring through and I just lost a bunch of money. Really sad service when this happens with no notification or ability to get refund.

I am using their service for 3 years now and really never had a problem until the last few days. Website down, nobody answers the phone. I always prepay for one year and definitely not happy about the lack of communication.
