While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

I made a huge mistake with my previous review. My previous review was meant to be for a company called Total Adblock. This company will rip you off as I believe they are scammers. I have now reported total adblock to my bank's fraud squad and they will pursue the issue further. Apologies Adblock for the inconvenience I have caused.

GET ADDBLOCK REALY I MEAN IT. ONCE THEY GO BLack
AdBlock is absolutely the best. Don't get fooled by similar names. TotalAdBlock and AdBlockPlus are not any better, in fact they are worse. I have been using AdBlock for years. I listen to YouTube videos for hours with NO ADS EVER. It is amazing. I love this company. Absolutely the best. All the negative reviews are from people using knock-off similar sounding extensions that are terrible. AdBlock is the best!

I bought Premium because it promised to block floating video/popup ads, but it didn't deliver on their promises. I asked for a refund and got a reply and my money back within less than 24h. I am happy with the cusomer support and will continue to use the free version until I have a reason to upgrade, or find something better.

Works for me, Total AdBlock and AdBlock are DIFFERENT extensions.
This AdBlock is the real AdBlock and it is very useful when you hate annoying unskippable ads on YouTube.

I can confirm that getadblock.com definitely do not charge for their adblock & since I downloaded it on my phone I have had no problems.
I would also like to say I think totaladblock are mirroring getadblock.com, if that's the correct word, as when I went to download getadblock.com's adblocker totaladblock appeared as an ad over getadblocks screen & they charge for their adblocker. This may be where people are getting confused as to whose adblock they are downloading.

It's free. Do not compare with similar named adblockers
Long time happy user
Everyone should use this
Fox news runs a 15 or 30 second commercial every time a video is opened. Adblock used to block those. now fox displays a banner that says to delete adblock and the entire screen is locked. Adblock no longer works on this site and they tell me that there is nothing they can do.
I tried your recommended solution and that does nothing. This banner is what appears as soon as site is opened,

OMG I can't believe how effective this has been immediately. Why didn't I install this sooner. I can now see the 'Wood for the Trees' just as if someone has cleared a path. Thank you 😊

Well using it still getting ads coming in on MSN so not really all that good. And yes it is the correct Adblock

I recently put up a negative review here. This was an error, it was aimed at TotalAdBlock and TotalAV - not AdBlock. Apologies.

It's unfortunate to see so many naïve people leaving reviews for Total AdBlock here, when the actual AdBlock program is so great. I've used the real AdBlock for close to a decade now, and recently signed up for their VPN beta as well. The AdBlock team has always made a great product for free, and only ever asked for the occasional donation. Keep up the good work and down with Total AdBlock!
I'm so glad I didn't install Total Adblock. I had assumed it was an updated version of Adblock, obviously not, going by posters' comments.
I've had the normal Adblock for years, it's brilliant and blocks adverts in all sites I'm able to use it in.

Blocking online ads and trackers has the added benefit of conserving bandwidth and battery life, boosting website response times, and generally improving the overall user experience. So using an Adblocker not only protects my device but also provides a better overall user experience and saves on my 4G data usage, which I pay for, NOT the advertising companies, until they start paying towards my monthly data usage they can go and do one. Last word... Adclear (the one I use) is totally free.
MY ORIGINAL REVIEW - WHICH HAD ONE STAR
I have always used adblock - i.e. the free version - and on line negative reviews have deterred me from paying to upgrade to Total Adblock. However, the invitation to upgrade persistently pops up on my screen and in very intrusive places where it blocks out parts of the page I am trying to view! I can close the ad down, but seconds later it just pops back up again. How ironic and irritating is this!!
And why do their ads still claim a five star excellent rating on Trustpilot??
MY REVISED REVIEW - HENCE NOW FIVE STARS
As I said, I have always use Adblock, but I bought a new PC and THOUGHT that I had downloaded Adblock again - hence my original review. Adblock replied promptly, helpfully and with great tolerance (see below) and I shall now download the CORRECT application.
My sincere apologies, appreciation and respect to Adblock.

This software does not function at all, I have more ads on my feed now. It used to work wonderfully.
