Scammer, avoid!

Here is another Prestashop developer related problem. It seems Prestashop only attracts scammers and thieves. Meet Datakick. A developer of modules for Prestashop, claiming to have over 700 of his Datakick module licenses in use. But if you want to simply Export/Import products, categories etc., don't rely on this guy.

The module looks very professional and I'm sure it does a lot of what the developer claims, but the moment you run into issues, as you will, don't expect any help.

The module uses very unusual terminology and the documentation is of little help. There are errors on products import even if they were exported using the module and the editing feature is also very odd and hard to navigate.

The developer may reply once or twice with no actual answers to your questions, only assumptions and more questions. And when you provide details, he'll simply ignore you. There's not much more to say, because that's where it ended. I got no help from the developer at all, and as with all other Prestashop developers, don't expect to get your money back. I ended up creating my own tools for what I needed and lost money to the Datakick scammer.
