No garlic aftertaste and easy on my mum's routine
Grabbed a bottle of the Elvéra odourless aged garlic extract for my mum since her doctor mentioned circulation support and she'd been put off other garlic supplements by the aftertaste before. These softgels genuinely don't leave that lingering garlic breath the label promises, which was the whole reason she'd avoided trying any of this in the first place. Label states it's fine alongside her existing blood pressure medication, which she double-checked with her pharmacist anyway before starting. Capsules are small enough she has no trouble swallowing them with breakfast. Checkout was straightforward, no subscription quietly added by default. Shipping took about six days and the seal was intact on arrival.

I ordered the product on June 26th. I received the product on July 6th. I reached out for a refund on July 27th and was denied even with their 30 day guarantee. They felt thec30 days started the day I placed the order. UNBELIEVABLE

Blood pressure readings definitely lower soon after beginning taking the tablets. A month or so later they are consistently even lower. Haven’t had a cholesterol test yet.

Awful experience
I made what I thought was a one off purchase from this company (four packets of garlic extract capsules). This was sufficient for a 90 day trial.
Before I had finished the first packet ELVERA messaged me to say a package was on its way. I messaged them advising I did not order the package and did not want it. Their response advised the package was part of a subscription I had signed for (news to me!). I have now sent several messages requesting they cancel my subscription. They insist I do this via their ‘portal’ where my account is located. Didn’t know I had an account and can’t access the portal.
Awful custom service. Buyer beware

To be clear, a subscription can be cancelled at any time, with no conditions and no hoops. If a further pouch still arrived after you cancelled, it is almost always because that particular order had already been prepared for dispatch before the cancellation came through, so it went out before the cancellation could stop it. That is on us to make clearer, not something you did wrong.
I would also like to reassure you, and anyone reading, that we never require a subscription. You can always buy a single pouch as a one-off if you prefer to order only when you need them.

I have been trying to return 4 unopened packs because I found no benefit in taking this product. Like the other reviews, they then say it is to be returned to China, and my experience of that is, they'll take it back and not refund you, this has happened with Elavate also. I have emailed back and forth to no avail. The reviews they post on the website are false, there is no link to them and it certainly isn't TrustPilot. I would be very surprised if this product is genuinely 'aged garlic' and am going to go about getting it tested. They say they are European based, they are not. I offered to send back to English distributor also, but that didn't work for them, even though obviously they take in their products and could easily redistribute them to the next victim. I am no longer buying anything from Facebook, because clearly there are some clever people out there making up these websites and they have it all covered. I've ended up spending about £70-80 because they also put you straight on a subscription, which is not clear when you pay for the original lot, but they highlight later saying it was clear. It isn't. Shame on you Elvera.

First, the most important one. Unopened packs can always be returned, and once we receive an unopened pack back, we always refund it in full. There is no exception to that. If four unopened packs are on their way back to us, or you would like to send them, your refund will be processed the moment they arrive. Please reply here with your order number and I will personally make sure it is logged and followed through, so this does not sit unresolved.
On the subscription: we do not place anyone on a forced or automatic subscription. On the product page, subscribing is an option you actively choose to tick, or not. And during checkout, the recurring nature of the payment is shown in three separate places before the order is confirmed. I understand it is still possible to miss, and if a subscription was set up that you did not want, we will gladly cancel it.
On the reviews: the reviews on our site are genuine customer reviews. If any of them appeared unclear in how they are presented, I am glad to explain how they are collected.

Hi, thank you for raising this, and I can see where the confusion has come from. We are actually an EU-based company, not a UK-based one, and I think that is the root of the mix-up. We never describe ourselves as UK-based, so if that impression came across anywhere, I would genuinely like to know where, because it should not. As for fulfilment, larger supplement brands often ship through international logistics partners, which is why tracking can route through more than one country before it reaches you. I understand that is not always obvious at the point of ordering, and I am sorry it left you feeling misled rather than informed. If there is anything open on your order, a refund or a return, reply here with your order number and I will make sure it is handled directly and properly from our side.
Dutch product, no independent quality mark, returns to China only at your expense
So the company is based in Holland with any returns to China. I bought on a one off basis via PayPal. There is no obvious indication on the website or the product wrapping of the Chinese connection for returns. The product has no independent quality mark (especially given its a daily supplement). They agreed to refund me but only if I returned the product to their China address. I am UK based. I offered to return it to their UK returns address in Hounslow UK as stated on their delivery packaging. They refused to receive it there. It would seem only UK postal delivery services can return the product to the UK address. Clearly they know that it will cost me a significant amount to return the product to China making any refund a lot less and therefore also far less likely. So, be clear, you are buying from a Dutch manufacturer with returns only possible to a China mainland address, the product bears no independent quality mark and if you want a refund you have to return it to the Chinese address at your own expense. Contrary to the reply below, there is no indication of any independent quality standard having been met on the product packaging. The website statements on quality need to be read very carefully. To confirm, it is shipped from Holland/returns and refunds via a China mainland address only. They eventually admit this when you probe enough. There is no refund unless you pay to return to a Chinese address. No European returns option. When you do a Google search - currently - it states "made in the UK" which is not true. As above the product origin is from a Dutch manufacturer, RealSupps B.V., (no mention of them on the Elvera website at time of writing) but again no return is possible to a Dutch address. Only to China at your expense. Contrary to the reply to this review below, when an entirely independent body reviewed this matter (PayPal) they found in my favour, refunding me in full.

Avoid, absolutely awful company.
Aged Garlic. Beware! 30 days after your first order take an unauthorised payment and send you a second order. they then email to say on the way. I checked and no evidence of subscription in original order. I tried to cancel but said ‘order in fulfilment so can’t be cancelled, interesting because took nearly two weeks to come first time. Interestingly a similar company, TryElvera also have multiple 1 star reviews commenting on unwanted subscriptions.

Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from your account.
