DO NOT SIGN UP WITH HURU OR GLIDE!

My house (6 people) was fully paid up, they then tried to charge me £180 individually, and my house mates as well. They are thieves. Constantly trying to take money out of my bank that I don’t owe them. Also when we sent in reader meetings (as one housemate had left at the start of the year, and two were hardly ever in) they said that we owned £200 more than what they predicted 6 people using. Makes absolutely no sense. Someone needs to prosecute them.

Do not sign up with HURU OR GLIDE

Do not sign up with HURU WHO ARE NOW GLIDE. I am a student, I signed up agreeing to pay water and WiFi, after one month they had removed the WiFi off of my account without notifying me, where £170 of charged had arisen. I had to sort all of this out myself, calling them and the internet provider, Origin broadband multiple times. If you do sign up, please be wary and make sure you keep all emails, names and anything as evidence. They do not care about anything, except taking students money

HURU ARE THEIFS.

HURU ARE THEIFS.
Constantly taking excessive money from my account then promising to refund me but because of the crap level of customer service, I go without large sums of my own money for 5 days +. Constantly felt the adding of the bill was wrong, terrible experience.
Huru tries to make student life easier but just adds another factor of stress. Thanks for nothing huru.

NEVER go with Huru

a number of things have gone wrong this year. Firstly our internet provider went bust and somebody at Huru said our internet would automatically get switched over to another provider, it wasn't and we were without internet for 3 weeks while we set up another contract. Secondly we were given a final energy bill which we sent to Huru, but they took so long to pay it the bill got passed on to a debt collector, who called us every morning. It would have been so much less hassle to just pay out own bills. All Huru has done is cost us money, cause stress and damage our credit rating.

Every month they mess it up

Every month they mess it up. They have made me waste hours trying to sort out their mistakes. When finally I succeed and are assured next month will work, I then get the same mess up come payment time. I am paying them to waste my time and provide no service. Without a doubt the worst company I have ever had to deal with. Avoid at all costs.

Abhorrent level of service

Abhorrent level of service. Perhaps the worst customer experience I have ever had. Constant issues with utility providers, forcing us to deal directly with the providers. Frequent billing mistakes with most questions regarding these mistakes ignored. Gas payments taken without sending them to EDF, leaving us with £200 worth of debt which had to be paid directly from threat of legal action. Please stay away from utility management companies, save some money and some stress and do it yourself!

AWFUL company.

NEVER reply to any emails, phone calls or any attempt to contact them. Changed energy supplier without letting me know and have forced me to pay out for their decision. They have left me with a bill of more then £200 at EDF as I'm being told they never actually paid any of my bills. Honestly disgusted by this company.

I followed all their procedures and requests but...They have lost my details twice and threatened to take legal action. I have tried to contact them and pay but there is no joined up communication there. they say it is sorted then send another threat of legal action.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Honestly some of the worst "service" I've ever received if you could call it that. AVOID HURU AT ALL COSTS. Pay your bills directly and save yourself the hassle, I wish I did. I registered with Huru back in September 2017 and it is now January 24th. Not a single bill was paid to ant energy company for my property. Instead, HURU took the money from my account ammounting to almost £60. Upon contacting them they kept making excuses saying they had "changed energy providers" and did not know why the money taken by themselves had not been used towards my actual energy bills. As of this month I have finally confirmed a refund of the £45 from them but, and I quote the email from them... "we can't refund the management fee I'm afraid as that covers the admin costs associated with your account for that month." It is infuriating that I have paid this company money for "admin costs" that I won't get back when literally 0 was done since I registered. This company took my money, kept it in their accounts doing absolutely NOTHING with it, leaving me to have huge energy bills once I realised they werent being paid monthly. I have also not received a single apology save for a shoddy email giving me my money back. Avoid this company at all costs they are scammers and completely useless. To top it off their customer service line employs people with serious attitude so prepare to be patronized while you're attempting to sort out your problems with them aswell! Avoid avoid avoid. This company should not exist.

Ignore all your emails when asking for …

Ignore all your emails when asking for help or raising a complaint.
Switched our supplier without informing us beforehand when we were £390 in credit with our provider, because of the switch our balance is back to neutral and so are being charged £200 per month in Gas and Electricity bills.
Very poor customer service.

Incredibly unhelpful

Incredibly unhelpful! Have spent hours on the phone trying to sort out my bills. No communication as to what is happening with the account not actually letting us know we bad been switched to a different plan not managed by them but still being charged. Very disappointing!!!

Best Company Ever

Best Company Ever! - they were able to sort out the bills for me and my five housemates so efficiently. The customer service team is so amazing, and the billing manager Ahmed is an absolute legend!. Also, Thomas sorted me out with £35 off of my first month's bills which really helped me as a student.

Very good customer service

I had Thaseen from Huru helping me get the cheapest deal for my flatmates and me; he was very helpful and replied to all my emails very quickly. In addition, he was extremely polite and informative.

Awesome idea!

I was drawn to Huru as to be honest, anything to make bills easier gets a thumbs up from me. The website was really easy to navigate and straightforward to set up our bills for everything in one go. I would recommend these guys to anyone!
