We are very happy with Get My Deposit Back. They have been incredibly supportive from the moment we contacted them. We sought advice on our deposit deductions, and they gave us an honest assessment, explaining that while we could contest it, we were unlikely to recover the full amount—though we could certainly reclaim a portion of it.

Matt was very informative, patient and professional with our dispute. We were going back and forth with the landlord for months, and if it wasn't for Matt I feel as though we would have given up long ago! Amazing advice and he truly sees it from the tenants perspective.

Absolute lifesaver, lettings agents last year tried to deduct £120 from me and my flatmate for mostly made up charges, after speaking to GMDB they told me exactly what I needed to do and I managed to get my entire deposit back - from £120 deduction down to £0. We didn't even have to pay to replace the one set of keys that were actually missing, because the landlord "couldn't be bothered" to enter a dispute with us over how much this would actually cost to replace.

After moving out of our student house for the last year that we'd constantly had problems with our landlord hit us with a £250 deposit deduction through a claim of cleaning with some ridiculous photos as "proof".
