The tech was very good

The tech was very good. But as in the past, when I had an appointment scheduled, it is never met on time. This was to be an 11 am call (I called at 10:30 to verify it) and got the call at 2:45 pm

Ongoing GetMyDrivers software activation issues

I paid for and installed the GetMyDrivers software back in November 2022, and was given a license key to activate the product. As mentioned by others, the unwanted charges for "7x24x365 customer technical support" for an additional $19.95 a month went on for a few months, but I was able to call and have that cancelled permanently. As for the software, every few months, as if on a timer, the activation code invalidates and the software goes back into trial mode. I've lived with calling technical support for the past 9 months, usually every two months or less to receive a fix or new activation code. They've reinstalled and pulled logs and other artifacts from my computer to determine the problem each time, but have never come up with a permanent fix.

I got suckered into paying for service I didn't want

I got suckered into paying for an continuing monthly charge for ongoing technical support that I did not request. On their website they stated that their program could be downloaded for free. However in order to use it they charged an annual fee for the license to use it. They said that there would be a fee for ongoing technical support. The way it is worded, it seems that a customer would probably need to request the ongoing technical support service. When I looked my bank account today, I realized that they have been charging me a monthly fee for their ongoing technical support. They need to be very clear on their website that if a customer chooses to get the annual license, the customer will not have a choice to select whether they want an ongoing services.

These reptiles have been feeding off me…

These reptiles have been feeding off my Credit Card. It has cost me hundreds - I did not sign up with them and I don't use any of their software. No-one needs to pay to update drivers these days - the operating systems in. Windows and Mac OS, do it automatically. I am now taking legal advice to recover the money they have scammed. I don't believe these gushing 5 star reviews on this site. No real person thinks that this scam is a bargain - TrustPilot really needs to do some house-keeping to check for similarities in the ip adresses of the 'fan club' - FIVE STAR. it ain't!

Hidden product/service with hidden charges?

There is this vague wording about an extra service or charges that I cannot remove from the purchase screen. If I remember correctly, it's for a monthly charge for customer service. PLEASE REMOVE THAT OR DO NOT CHARGE ME FOR THAT!!!!
