While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. This technology is designed to identify and remove content that breaches our guidelines, including reviews that are not based on a genuine experience. We recognise we may not catch everything, and you can flag anything you think we may have missed. Read more

RideWise (getridewise.com) is a free, independent rideshare price comparison platform for the United States. We help riders answer the question they search for most: is Uber cheaper than Lyft? Before you book, RideWise shows you real fare estimates side by side — UberX, Uber Comfort, XL and Black against Lyft Standard, XL and Lux, plus local taxi rates — so you can pick the cheapest ride in seconds. Most riders save 15–40% per trip. We compare Uber vs Lyft prices across 300+ US cities and 47 major airports, including JFK, LAX, O'Hare, Atlanta and Dallas–Fort Worth, with dedicated airport-to-city fare estimates. The price calculator is completely free, needs no sign-up, and works instantly. What makes RideWise different: we're not affiliated with Uber, Lyft or any taxi company, and we earn no commission on your ride. Our estimates are built from publicly available rate cards, airport authority filings, and our own first-party research — including a 30-day experiment tracking 500 real rides across New York City. Every guide is published under a real author byline with sourced citations, a transparent methodology, and a public corrections policy. Our mission is simple: make rideshare pricing transparent so you never overpay for a ride again. Compare Uber and Lyft prices free at getridewise.com.

Love the RideWise doesn't froce you…

Love the RideWise doesn't froce you into using a specific app. It literally just shows Uber vs Lyft side by side with the real price ranges, and there's no annoying signup or email wall. Used it a couple of times already and honestly wish I found it sooner.
