Good but inconsistent
Snip was advertised heavily about Amazon & Spotify being available for discounts but these have both been removed with no warning/explanation. There are some other really good savings, but would like more transparency around what's going and why.
rejects orders regularly
Half the time I go to make my order, the order fails with no reason. Customer service didn’t reply last time I emailed to complain. Beyond frustrating given I am paying monthly for this
*update - I have tried to forward my emails to help[at]getsnip.com as per your reply, but the email bounces back and says the domain cannot be found...

How can you not rate this 5 stars?
How can you not rate this 5 stars when it saves you so much money?
Best thing I’ve found. Win-win!
No Amazon 1.75% Discount
I just started a free 14 day Trial of Snip because Pick my Postcode advertising 1.75% discount on Amazon. There are lots of good discounts for other retailers but I cannot find any for 1.75% off Amazon. If there is no discount for Amazon I will be cancelling my membership and direct debit before the free trial ends

Love using it and saves me on shopping
Love using it and saves me on shopping, having takeaways I can eat more often with money saved :-)
Helping me save
Snip has been such a useful subscription, it has helped me save on a number of items for the new baby, which is really helpful when those things cost so much. Love the ongoing supermarket savings too!
Unsuccessful trial - issue resolved & great discounts
Snip replied to my email and contacted Propello who advised that their automated fraud filter blocked me from obtaining e-gift cards. They then removed the block and I have been able to successfully purchase e-gift cards. I suggest anyone wanting to use e-gift cards ensures they purchase them well in advance to prevent any problems.
Signed up for a free trial 2 days ago and have tried unsuccessfully since then to purchase e-gift cards. Can’t seem to check out and make payment. Very frustrating and disappointing as have to make a large purchase and the planned discount would have made a great difference. Tried contacting by all methods possible but so far only an automated email response. 😢

Need to rethink the application design
If I could give less than 1*, I would!
I signed up in March and have only made two purchases. I’ve tried many times in the last 24 hours with total failure at the payment part. A phone & email prompted replies that said a filter was reset so all should work. It doesn’t!
Two emails sent as replies to their fix that isn’t fixed. No response. All further attempts still fail but now whenever I phone the help line, after a minute of music, I get cut off!!
31/5/24 update. After sending screenshots of my failed transaction, I got two responses from different people that suggested that Propello and Snip (Propello seemingly being the company that deals with Snip and several others) both gave the solution.
It’s an issue they need to resolve for all, as my email and home address were automatically populated, so that must have came from details that I supplied on applying in March. If it was pointed out then that I’d use “&”, this could have been avoided.
My review was in frustration with no direct number to call, the Propello number seems to only get them to email you at help…….. as I also did. Having an automated reply that shockingly states it could take 3 days only further exasperates the situation.
I’ve now made my purchase, so alls now fine.
In fairness at beating the 3 days, I’ve amended my score.

This truly is a fantastic website
This truly is a fantastic website. I signed up for a 14 day free trial, of which I understand that I have no obligation to continue with after this period. However, I will be - the website is super easy to use; I have found myself in Sainsbury’s buying gift cards for random denominations and being able to buy my shopping at a discount, hassle free. I have only been a member 4 days and have already saved £54. I will be utilising the £30 annual subscription as it’s better value over the year - and clearly as you can see above, it pays for itself if you use it cleverly and when needed. As a frequent buyer, and with so many brands participating in their site, it’s so easy to make lots of little savings that ultimately add up. Highly recommended and will be telling all my friends and family about this amazing life hack! Thank you Snip.
Fantastic way to save money
Fantastic way to save money. I use my account weekly to get 5% off my Tesco shop. Well worth the small monthly charge. You can use the site for discounts on so many things, including holidays and days out. Very easy to use.
Quick and easy way to save money.
Happy with Snip…
Somehow canceled my direct debit but Customer Service helped sort it out quickly. I've used Snip at Aldi, B&M, Morrisons, Just eat, Deliveroo and Uber eats. At my local Aldi, they sometimes can't scan but they are used to typing the code in so no probs there.
Saved quite a few pennies now so I'm an official Snip fan !
Good discounts
Good discounts. However customer services about to be tested. I am still awaiting resolution of a double debit on my account.
needs an app!
great discounts but I just wish they had an app to make it easy while out... also a lidl discount would be great to complete most major supermarkets!
Highest savings %
It’s definitely the best rates for savings on shopping. It would have been 5* but they recently changed payment processor that doesn’t accept American Express, which was a great feature to have. The new payment processor is much slower so when you’re at the shop it takes a lot longer to buy a voucher.

Good experience so far
Aldi is the closest shop I can get to but I need to plan my trip ahead of time to print out the vouchers because I don’t want to be held up on the till if I access the voucher through my phone right there and then and in case there would be tech connection problems. The vouchers doesn’t work though on their self checkout tills which isn’t Snip’s fault but still, it’s worth getting it as I’m saving money so far as long as I stick to my budget.
Definitely saving money
Definitely saving money, had a few issues with the website not working correctly which can be frustrating. I find it easier to get the voucher before I go shopping or can be difficult doing it at the till due to the time it takes. Worthwhile for me so far.
Easiest voucher site…
I’ve not found an easier voucher site to use. It’s still in its infancy but the website makes sense to me and vouchers load super quickly without having to go to emails to get the voucher cards. Highly recommended.
Saved money on our summer holiday
Signed up about 3 months ago, saved £83.47 on my weekly shops so far. On top of that I have also saved 7% on Airbnb for our summer holiday, very happy with that!!
Just noticed that ASDA can now be used online, which is perfect as had been doing in-store shops to get the 4% discount. Nice to have the option for home delivery
Use With Caution
When I first signed up, I loved it. I used the site without any issues.
Once I paid my first subscription fee however, it all changed. For several weeks I couldn't get beyond the login page. Got an error every time. Different platforms, devices, clearing cookies, history, nothing worked. No reply to my enquiry regarding the issue.
This morning I tried to login in again. Success! I purchased a voucher and used it. Later on the day I visited Sainsbury's and purchased a voucher there. Tried to retrieve my voucher code just to be told that there was an error. In the end I just paid for my shopping as I had places to be. I continued to try and access the voucher for half an hour before it eventually worked. As the voucher has to be used the day it's purchased, I had to go back to Sainsbury's and spend another £45 to use the voucher.
Won't be using again.
Edited: Thank you for your reply.
I stand corrected. I was mistaken regarding the expiry of the voucher. I think I was so flustered with being stuck at the till with no voucher downloading. I will make sure I have purchased and downloaded the voucher before I go shopping in future.
