Lovely driver

Lovely driver, arrived a little early for a booked trip, but no hassle. Took the direct route and was very helpful throughout. Booking system a little painful for a timed collection, as the book now button, once a time has been put in, really means ignore the time and come now, but problem handled very well by driver.

Pretending that it's busy and charging…

Pretending that it's busy and charging an extra £15 has made me quit Gett after being a loyal customer on many visits to London. There are other apps out there that don't add on unfair charges.

£15 high demand fee for £16.60 taxi fare

The taxi came very quickly however the app charged additional £15 high demand fee on top of £16.60 taxi fare + £1.99 service fee. This is a day time robbery. I wouldn't use it if I hadn't need to use a taxi for my baby. What a rip off

All fees are presented prior to finalising the booking to give the passenger as much visibility into the fare estimate (including high-demand fees), allowing them to continue with the booking or look for an alternative.

To help clarify, these fees are only in place during exceptionally busy periods to ensure we can get as many drivers as possible to meet our passengers' needs. We are currently experiencing a London Underground strike, which significantly increases pressure on the supply of black taxis across the city. We use these fees to incentivise drivers, ensuring we can provide a ride even when demand is at its peak.

As Trustpilot is an anonymous platform, I would appreciate the opportunity to look into this specific trip to ensure that no errors were made. If you could respond to the request for further information I have sent via the platform, I will happily investigate this for you.

Great Service gets you there safe

Taxis available quickly and you are able to see when and where they are relative to you. Being able to move the pick up/drop off from a specific address makes the process of catching them easier. Fares reasonable
