Don't buy anything from GhostBed!

Honestly, I was hesitant to order a pillow online, but it had great reviews and "hassle free returns" so I decided it was worth a shot. The pillows 1. Don't feel anything like memory foam pillows 2. Stay cool for about 10 seconds. After trying them for over a month I decided to return them. When I chatted in on how to return, I was told I had to ship them back at my own expense. When I think hassle free returns, this isn't it! What a joke. I also find it suspicious that there is no way to submit a review on their website. All of the reviews on there are great but if you look elsewhere the reviews aren't good. Run from GhostBed!

Just like their name, they will GHOST you.

Disappointed in the memory foam pillow. It was too elevated and gave me pain. I wanted to return it but GhostBed said I'd have to pay for return shipping. I noted this is unfair because if I had purchased their product through Amazon, the return would have been free. I had bought it directly through their website, thinking I was helping them out as I'm sure Amazon takes a cut. GhostBed's customer service agent then responded that the reason Amazon's return shipping is free is because I had to pay for shipping to receive the item. This is blatantly FALSE. It would have been free for me to get the item from Amazon (their shipping policy is free for items over $35 and this qualifies). The customer agent then never responded to me and my issue was not resolved. They ghosted a customer. Utterly disappointed. Never buying from them again.

Worst Company!

DO NOT BUY GHOST BED!
Scam! Advertised as No harmful chemicals are used, easy returns, great customer service.
My wife is getting sick from the smell, her back hurts and there is no way get any kind of response from Ghostbed...it's been 2 weeks and just series off auto email replies "we will get back with you"!
Taking $3.000.00 took them only 30 seconds, now my wife is sick from their product and we are getting no help!!!

Great product TERRIBLE Customer service

We purchased or ghost bed with adjustable frame. 3 weeks after our purchase, the price went down by 400-500$. I contacted the company to ask for price adjustment, and even though our full order was not complete, they would not adjust the price(even for a credit, as we in the future were going to purchase a second bed for our son). I then stated that the mattresses were under the 30 day return window so I would like to return them, and I was told that that was not possible. Like I said we loved the product, however due to such poor customer service we will not repurchase nor recommend the product.

Misleading and Fraudulent Marketing

I bought a Ghostbed memory foam cooling pillow. It turned out to junk that I had to return. It had a terrible "chemical" smell that made it impossible to sleep on. The "cooling" aspect was also a gimmick, feeling cool to the touch for about 30 seconds, after which it warmed up and retained heat like any other foam pillow. What is worse the website return policy is completely misleading using words sneakily manipulated to imply that pillow returns were simple, hassle free and that shipping was free. It turns out that this is a lie and they make you arrange and pay for shipping the return. I had to pay $40 (Cdn) to return a $90 pillow. Also, the reviews on their website appear to also be fraudulent as well since there is no way for actual paying customers to leave a review.

We ordered to go to bed topper got it real quick, Try it out add muscle cramps and backspasms all night long recover the next day try it again the next night same thing removed went back to my firm mattress call the company they will not accept the return and give me my money back it's in the fine print that once it's sold you're screwed And then if they do give you money back They only give you 1/3 back they do not stand behind their Word the topper is a piece of crap all I wanted my money back

July 2022-Mattress topper - Keep Shopping

July 2022-Bought a mattress topper $200 on "sale" to replace my existing one as I was waking up with shoulder and hip pain and this topper was supposed to relieve those pressure point pains, HA! After trying it for 2 weeks, it is so bad I will go back to my old one. Also the cooling effects they claim was not evident to me. I purchased it believing I had a free trial, even during checkout the hassle free "trial icon" was displayed, however in the fine print it states free trail does not apply to the toppers.

When I received the topper, it was "partially" wrapped in plastic (the brochure states it was vinyl packaging...not!) and the topper cover was waded up and rolled up inside the topper. Not how I expect a $200+ topper to arrive. When I called there customer service, I was told that's the way they are all shipped. Insane, it looked like I received some one's return. I will be returning the pillows since those do have a free trial. They did not work for me either. I was advised I am responsible for return shipping...where is the "Hassel Free" return promise there??? Free trials and hassel free returns are marketed, however the truth is in the fine print.

Oh and I love how you get the email from the owner welcoming you to the Ghost Bed Family....blah, blah, blah!

Do yourself a favor and keep shopping!!!

Unsatisfactory product and terrible…

Unsatisfactory product and terrible company to deal with once the item is purchased.

After reading all the positive reviews of GhostBed Memory Foam cooling mattress toppers we had found on mattress review sites and their own, we decided to take a chance and buy one as summer was coming and after all, their much advertised return policy (101 days) seemed great.

Well, long story short - the mattress arrived quickly, but interestingly, within a week they were having a big "sale" where the price of the topper we purchased had dropped in price significantly. I reached out to customer service to see if we might get some form of credit as a sign of good faith, but the manager who fielded this request firmly rejected that. That was a big turnoff, but at least we now had the mattress to try out.

Unfortunately, it was soon apparent that this "cooling gel" topper provided no cooling whatsoever. On top of that, it provided no support either - much less than the mattress it was laying atop. It's soft, squishy and generally uncomfortable. We gave it two weeks and then decided this wasn't going to work for us. That is when I tried opening a return request with customer service.

We then learned that all those bold claims of easy returns, total satisfaction, etc did not apply to many items they sell, including this one. We were told that all sales were final and instead were given tips on how to donate it, but we would be receiving nothing from the company.

We feel we have been deceived and misled by the slick messaging this company displays on its website and among the various "mattress review" sites (likely paid to send clicks to them) to make it very hard to see you have no recourse whatsoever if you don't like the product.

It comes as no surprise that even with all the glowing reviews from supposed customers on their website, I've yet to find a way for a real customer such as myself to actually leave a real one.

In short, we are not at all pleased with the product we purchased or the interaction we have had with this company. We would not recommend either to anyone.

They sold me a mattress topper which was 100% different from what they advertised and refused to refund me or send me what I paid for.

I purchased the mattress topper from Ghostbed and received an item that was completely different than what was advertised on the website. I’m talking different color, shape, texture, everything. It was also supposed to come with a cooling mattress topper cover, but instead I received an already torn generic polyester cover that again was a completely different product than was advertised. I thought I might have received a different topper from their company, but could only find the one that they sold. I did my research and could not for the life of me find any similarities from the product I received to the product they advertised. What was so strange was that the shape and pattern of the topper was COMPLETELY different than the one they have on their website. There was literally not one part of this thing that was similar. The only indicator it was from Ghostbed was the box, which has their brand name on it. I didn’t even get a receipt. It’s like they just sent me some random topper and cover. I immediately packed it back up into its original box, didn’t even sleep on it as the smell was also so overpowering.

When I reached out to customer service I was told there is no refund for “personal use items”. I sent them the pictures of the mattress topper and cover to prove that what I got was actually a DIFFERENT product than what was advertised. I was told they could send a replacement “from a location that should have one more exact to the website.” At this point, I just wanted my money back. I was told no again, so I decided to cut my losses, try again, so I agreed to the replacement hoping I would finally get what I paid for. Then I was told I could NOT be given anything but a 25% refund due to “confusion” over their mattress toppers, as they claim even if they look completely different (i.e., a different product), they function the same. How could that be true? So, they sent me a wrong product, offered a replacement, then told me they could not give me a replacement AFTER they offered me one. I’m not even sure if I should go to the 25% refund after reading the reviews on this website and BBB because I’m afraid I’ll never get it. You just can’t make this stuff up. If I could post the photos of what I received on here I would. Please, do not buy from this company!

If I could give a zero star I would. Warning: don’t buy any bed from Ghostbed. I purchased a Venus Williams mattress on June 10 2022 from Ghostbed website. I total paid 3K+. When I received the mattress, it came with a dirty cardboard box and not an original Ghostbed package. When I opened the package the mattress looks like a used mattress. I went on the website and chatted with the so called sleep expert and complained about the mattress and also the middle part of the mattress sag and hurting my back. He then typed the message and advised me to try it 101 days. I requested to speak with Shaq who helped me to make the purchase but I was told he’s not in the office and he would contact me later. I waited for over a week no phone call no email no one contacted me. So I stuck with the mattress and I went on the website again and spoke with another sleep expert and I told him the mattress is too soft for me and need to return . Again I got a message and asked me to try 101 days. I said sir I don’t need to try 101 days the mattress is too soft hurting my back and get worse every day. Then he asked me to fill out a return form on the website which I did. And I received a message said it’s busy time and it might take days to get a reply and someone will contact me. Ghostbed is a joke. The mattress is junk but the price is high. I read so many bad reviews about Ghostbed on BBB and Reddit and here Trustpilot. All these complaints are mostly have trouble making a return and get a refund!!! The company claims if not satisfied with mattress can get a refund. But this company doesn’t honor what it claims. If you are looking for a mattress stay away from Ghostbed. No one in this company will help you. They are only eager to help when the time you made the purchase!!! After that, no one cares!!!! DONT BUY ANY BED from GHOSTBED!!!! I will go on all social media platforms to warn others about this company. I don’t want other people fall into victims!!!

Ghost Bed Fraud fraud fraud fraud fraud

I have to tell everybody out there to avoid Ghost Bed at all cost… they are scamming company who sooner or later is going to get caught I bought a $4300 bed and within a month I couldn’t stand it they came and picked up my mattresses and never picked up the electric part and now they’re telling me that that’s mine I have to keep that. And now I’m finding out that they got the loan through Affirm of my total payments and I’m still getting charged from a firm and I have no bed I think they’re both in cahoots and now I’m getting ready to go onto TV and hire an attorney because I’m reading the reviews and I’m one of hundreds of people that I’ve been scammed from ghost bed…. Karma always comes around

Do not order from this company

Do not order from this company. I just hope the pain and frustration from the ordeal of using Ghostbed is made up for a good sleep on the mattresses tonight. I asked for a delivery to be done at a later date twice and was told that it would be delivered on a specific day so I could organize my house move around that day. I told them I could give them a few days grace but it had to be before a certain day. Next minute the day before expected delivery they tell me it will be 3 days later.... when im away. I was the one who had to call fedex (as told by GB customer service) and escalate the need for the mattresses to be delivered urgently, fedex said they couldnt and GB would need to contract them. I unfortunately had to be that person on the phone, very upset with both GB and Fedex customer service wanting it to be escalated.
After that runaround and no hearing back, the beds were delivered by fedex the day before my work trip (thank goodness you may say). They were delivered to my front door by one man, there was no team to bring the King & Queen mattresses up the stairs and i was told "these items for too heavy for anyone to help you" ...and so, I flipped them by myself up 3 flights of stairs which took over an hour, as if i was in a CrossFit comp. I would like to acknowledge i am 130lb female, and additionally i paid this company over $3K. Do not use them. The whole gong show from start to finish is not worth the stress.

Do Not Buy From GhostBed!!!!!

I wish I checked out this site before I made my purchase with them. They never received my adjustable bed and since FedEx is claiming they delivered, GhostBed won't refund or re-ship another bed to me. I am out $1400. The entire process was screwed up from the start. Tracking numbers not matching, delivery dates also. I live on a 5 acre lot with a porch that's about a 100 yards from the road and driveway. I do not live in a subdivision. I live with my in-laws, someone is always home. How does someone roll up to my house and take a 150 pound bed frame and nothing else? FedEx is saying that their were 3 packages given to someone. So no one here remembers receiving a 150lbs package but GhostBed nonetheless believes FedEx, doesn't care that I still do not have my bed frame and say that they did their part and I should call the local FedEx warehouse and file a report with the police. Gee thanks for your support GhostBed! STAY AWAY FROM GHOSTBED! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEir CUSTOMERs! THEY WILL NOT CARE IF YOU DIDN'T RECEIVE WHAT YOU HAVE PAID FOR.

Worst company ever

Worst company ever. Fake review websites,impossible to return for refund, they deduct any discounts for other items you bought. Refund not allowed if you inquire about costco. Feel ripped off for a very hard mattress. Would sue if I had the ability to go up against a lawyered up unscrupulous company.

Ordered a mattress, after a week, it has not shipped.

I ordered a ghostbed (king size) and after one week it still has not left the city it shipped from. They blamed it on FedEx. I tried to cancel the order but they told me that if I return it unopened OR refuse the delivery, they will charge me a 15 percent restocking fee. If I take it out of the box, then contact them, they will pick it up and no restocking fee.

I now have no mattress and must buy another mattress and get this mattress, open it, wait a day, and then request a refund and pickup. Then wait for a refund.

Not someone I would do business with again.

I was super excited to try them out buuuut...

I was super excited to try them out. Unfortunately, the bed was just too hard for me. I initiated the return 1.21.22 it's 4.5.22 and I'm STILL fighting with them over the amount to be refunded. They take at least 72 hours to respond to an email and do not take calls for returns. You cannot speak to anyone in "finance" and they just say the same thing over and over again.

I recently purchased a mattress topper…

I recently purchased a mattress topper from ghodtbed and unfortunately it was not a good fit for me. I've only slept on it 3×s and was told no return on the topper. I was absolutely dumbfounded. This seems unreasonable and in a sense deceiving on the company part. I'd not recommend doing business with this particular company. The least they could offer is a partial refund or accept returns and donate to a organization.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. Will take your money quickly, but if there is a problem they will ghost you.
The mattress seemed well built, although I had to open windows and run fan to get rid of the smell.
Mattress did not work for me. The return process was slow and painful! I would highly recommend steering clear of this company. What good is their warranty if they ghost you when you have a problem.
Also you have to pay shipping and taxes on any Free promotional items they bundled in with the mattress.
They were free so I did not pay tax on them at purchase. Sounds criminal for them to deduct tax from me I never paid.

Plenty of other bed in the box companies out there.
Don't buy Ghost bed!! They truly have earned their "F" rating at the BBB.

Does not comply with consumer laws and refuse refund.

I am both a consumer under laws and a licensed lawyer in Quebec. I have purchased a mattress from Ghostbed trough their website and on delivery, they left the mattress in the public lobby of my building even if there were clear indications that parcels shall be left in a secure lockbox which was clearly indicated. As a result of their gross negligence, the mattress got stolen and a police report has been duly completed. Under consumer law, the vendor has the obligation to ensure that the mattress was properly delivered to the consumer, otherwise, the mattress is deemed not to have been delivered. It is clearly the case here.

Consequently, I duly sent legal notice pursuant to the consumer protection act to cancel the purchase and, even after 1 month following the theft of the mattress, Ghostbed refuses and neglect to issue a refund even if it is their legal obligation to do so. Ghostbed is INTENTIONALLY INFRINGING CONSUMER LAWS and has no consideration whatsoever, to consumers rights. Their customer service is impolite, rude and does not care at all about my case. They do not answer my emails and when I call them, they offer no explanation whatsoever even if they have been put on legal notice.
