The customer service was great! I'm unimpressed with the lack of smart monthly giving options on Givecloud (this would be simple, just take the smart ask amounts and divide them by 6, 5, and 4 for the suggested ask amounts). Now, we are asking for one time donations which is less ideal.

Our requests for support to 1) make our donors' donation anonymous, 2) list donors full name on P2P campaigns are really important for our goals, and unfortunately your team doesn't seem to be able to make this happen.

After 10 weeks of "onboarding" we still did not have the "giving forms" and "Thank you" materials that would work for us. The chat and email support system is tedious and much time was wasted on issue after issue that could have been easily dealt with in a phone call, but they absolutely refuse to provide telephone support. The advice they offer also assumes a level of technological expertise that our small organization simply does not have. After 10 weeks, it was finally time to admit that the customer service that they were willing to offer, was never going to meet our needs. Since we never ended up with anything useful for us, it would have been nice to get our money back...but they don't do that. If you've got an IT department that can parse the techno-jargon, GC might work for you.

I am still learning about Give Cloud but I do appreciate all of the Chat and Live support and generally, it is immediate. There were days when it took support staff a day to respond. That was a little more of a lag than I would have expected.
The tools are pretty easy to use, and chat support has been outstanding
One of the greatest experiences with Givecloud is it's team of helpful experts. I have had several team members go beyond what would normally be a basic type of help with other organizations. Many of Givecloud's techs will reach out to their other team members to give a real solution to the problem or question we are dealing with. They don't just give a basic answer or escalate to another person. They get back to me with a detailed answer. At other times, they work through the solution to answer my questions and walk me through step-by-step on how to resolve the issue.
There are situations that would greatly benefit our organization because of our unique needs, but we realize that all solutions in Givecloud are global for all users and cannot be changed just for our organization. One of the things we think would be beneficial for most clients is being able to look up supporters by their ID number (Reference #). For some reason, this cannot be done in Givecloud - yet we can look up Sponsored Children by reference #. Not sure why it can't be done on the supporter level.

Two improvements could be made: faster response to questions since usually they are asked when I am stuck on something urgent. I have had some problems with people not being able to process their donations. I am sure this is a technical difficulty. I hope it gets fixed. Thank you!
The Help Team make this company great! Despite minor imperfections, I still had to give GC 5 stars b/c the staff are so incredibly helpful problem solvers. I appreciate them very much.
As i have begun my six trainings, there are a lot of things that i was told i would be able to do that in fact i am not. There are so many parameters on things that should be easy to do / change. For example, there is no way to mass upload pictures and when you have a group of 400+ children, this is very time consuming. My goal was to make sponsoring a childs Christmas list easier, and as i lean more and more, it is not saving time. I also was told i must pay for "white glove onboarding." The way this was described to me was so that i would have a team who would help me get started. However, i meet with one person who reviews what i must then do on my own time. This is not at all how i was explained the process would work of building. I do think the sponsorship experience will be far more positive for the donor, and that is why i have stayed. However, while it has relieved some of the struggles that i once had to do, it has created new ones.
We love that we are able to see donations in real time so that we can respond with a quick thank you email or phone call.
GiveCloud has blown my expectations out of the Water!
They really do pride themselves on there service, and wanting to make your non for profit a success. There chatbot feature is next level. I'm able to figure everything out by asking it a question, and if I need any extra help I can have access to someone very quickly. Can't recommend them enough.
Givecloud was a brand new experience for me. When I first tried to register, I was asked for my credit card information and did not want to provide it, as I had already paid SharingLife for my sponsorship. However, I was able to use the QR code (which I don't like either) and ultimately succeeded in registering for this event. I think Givecloud will work great for the younger generation; however, I learned to use computers when it took a room in which to store the hard disk.
As a digital agency, we've loved referring clients to GiveCloud - it has been a game-changer. I am extremely excited to dive into Givecloud, thanks to my Givecloud Account Manager, Keisha, who was, for lack of a better word, exceptional. I am a new mom, and I am embarrassed to say that my communication and response time have been awful throughout the onboarding and implementation process.
Keisha was leisurely and relaxed yet consistent in her outreach (she would "check in" rather than overwhelm with reminders), which showed her understanding and patience for where I was in my new role, which has been a rarity in the workforce since becoming a mom. She was also accommodating to my schedule and availability, and when we finally did connect, she was personable, extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and was in no hurry.
After my experience today, I wish I had connected with Keisha and Givecloud sooner, as Givecloud seems to be the missing link to the puzzle I have been looking for in the growth and branding of my organization over the last few months. A BIG THANK YOU to Keisha!
