4th order from give me cosmetics

4th order from give me cosmetics, not happy with delivery times every time takes nearly 2 weeks for delivery at first I thought it was the delivery company but turns out my orders dont get even gwt processed for nearly a week then its a long dispatch not ideal. Dont like the shampoo range

Positives the hair scents are amazing

Be careful if buying for gifts to purchase at least 3 weeks before you need it !

Placed my order on 20/11 and I have…

Placed my order on 20/11 and I have still not received it. I’ve contacted customer service and was told to check with neighbors even though the tracking had shown it wasn’t ever out for delivery. They then advised me they would contact Yodel and investigate but I’ve not heard anything for over a week now! To rub salt on the wound, they sent me an email asking me if I would like to restock my products…. Which I never received. Really not happy and I would like a refund.

Absolutely horrendous from start to…

Absolutely horrendous from start to finish. I ordered £26.90 worth of hair products on the 16th of November and they arrived on the 19th with no issues. I then placed another order for £59.98 worth of products during the Black Friday deal on the 28th of November—items my daughter had chosen for her birthday.

The shipment was delayed, and despite checking the tracking daily (as her birthday had already passed), delivery was never attempted. Eventually the tracking updated to say the shipment was damaged and being returned to the sender. I emailed them immediately, explaining the situation and asking for a replacement to be sent as soon as possible.

Instead, I received an email saying the Black Friday bundle deal was no longer available and that some items would need to be refunded. I replied asking if there was another solution, as these were my daughter’s birthday presents and she was expecting them. After checking online, I saw that everything inside the bundle was still available to order individually at full price— but the Black Friday bundle boxes were unavailable. It seemed reasonable to expect some kind of alternative or goodwill gesture.

Instead, they responded by processing a full refund without addressing my email at all. My daughter now has nothing, despite the order being paid for, and their lack of effort to help has been incredibly disappointing. It feels like they were happy to take the money during Black Friday, but if anything goes wrong with their courier, you’re out of luck unless you pay full price again.

Customer service has been absolutely shocking. I’ve been a loyal customer, but after this experience, I will never order from them again.

We completely understand how frustrating it is when a parcel is damaged in transit. In this case, the courier returned the shipment to us due to damage, which meant we were unable to send the original Black Friday bundle you purchased.

Our Black Friday bundles come as a complete set with specific packaging. Once that packaging is no longer available, we’re unable to recreate or resend the bundle — even if the individual items are still available separately. For this reason, we processed a full refund as soon as the damaged parcel was confirmed by the courier.

We apologise that this wasn’t the resolution you were hoping for, and we understand how disappointing that can be. We appreciate your previous support as a customer and are sorry that this experience didn’t reflect the standard we always aim to provide.

The worse the customer service awful…

The worse the customer service awful may as well talk to yourself as just goes round in a circle. product wasn't how it was advertised made my hair strip from colour and feel awful, i stated this which was asked for it to be returned once returned they refused refund as was slightly used which i stated now out of pocket and product although wouldn't used again but it's the principle as i've paid for it.

We’re sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience and that the product wasn’t suitable for your hair, we do give plenty of information on all the types of our haircare ranges, who they are suitable for etc and if you are ever unsure our customer care team are always happy to assist.

We do want to clarify our returns policy: we’re unable to offer refunds or accept returns on used cosmetic items unless there is a confirmed fault with the product. This is due to strict health and safety regulations surrounding opened cosmetic goods.

In this case, the item was returned to us after being used, and suitability for a specific hair type is not considered a product fault. For this reason, we were unable to process a refund.

We understand this may be disappointing, but we must follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the safety of all our customers.

The best customer service I have ever received

I never ever write reviews but I genuinely am blown away by the experience i’ve had with Give Me’s customer service.

I spent quite a substantial amount of money on their black friday sale (incredible sale!!). The large order was dispatched in a couple of days however yodel returned my package to give me.

I contacted customer service to let them know and to ask if they could re send it once they’ve received the return.

I had a message back the next day letting me know that a new order was on its way, i received a fresh order confirmation and tracking and I didn’t have to wait for my original parcel to be returned back to them. There was no fuss at all, it was fantastic.

My package has arrived today and every item is in there including a free mystery bundle as I spent over a certain amount. The products in the bundle are full sized and incredible.

I am a give me lover anyway but this has made them my favourite brand. I will be re ordering the items from the mystery bundle also as I’m in love already as they’re items i’d never usually order so it’s amazing to try.

Thank you Give Me, you have made Christmas shopping incredibly stress free!

10/10 incredible.

Excellent Product and Service



I cannot fault this company! Ordering was extremely straightforward and delivery was quick. I did have a problem of my own making, but Sam was quick to resolve the issue and put me on the right track. 2 orders - received neither of them

I ordered a Black Friday bundle .. TWICE. Both times it was lost and I never received it. I did get refunded eventually for the first one. The 2nd one I am literally being ignored by both GIVE ME COSMETICS (the irony is they have not “given me” anything) and Yodel. I’ve spent literally hours trying to get somewhere with this. The business chat agent on FACEBOOK clearly could not be bothered and just gave me pre written responses. Total waste of time!

DO NOT ORDER !!!

Order arrived with one set missing and i am being told that i need to contact police to investigate even though there was no damage to parcel received so it was never packed

UPDATE: We have checked the PayPal case and again, none of our team have advised to contact the police, this communication has not come from ourselves and in fact, when you open a PayPal case it is actually PayPal who are responding to you as they are the mediator. I hope this makes sense. As we have said further down in the review, can you please complete the form we have sent so we can deal with this directly with you and get this resolved.

As part of our standard process for investigating missing items, we requested that you complete a missing items form so we could escalate the matter with the courier. We have not yet received a completed form from you. You then reached out via a new email thread for an update, which we also responded to promptly.

It appears there may be some misunderstanding, as the information you mentioned did not come from our team. To help us resolve this for you as quickly as possible, we kindly ask that you complete the form previously sent.

Terrible

Give Me Cosmetics use Yodel as their courier service who lose parcels. They are aware of this issue using Yodel, but state they will continue to use Yodel to deliver their products! Terrible service.

Disappointed with customer service

Have been using Giveme cosmetics shampoo and conditioner for quite a while. Also use the heat defence spray, serum and hair repair,

I bought some defence spray and serum whilst on offer, opened it yesterday after finishing my last one and the pump
isn’t working. Reported it today to be told it’s over the 30 days returns policy.

I only opened it yesterday how was I meant to know it would be faulty?!! I’ve also bought my daughters gifts which haven’t been opened for Christmas as they too were on offer. What if they are faulty when they open them?!?

Really disappointed with the customer service after being a loyal customer for a number of years.

Update further email sent to confirm they would be sending a replacement heat defence spray have updated to 3 stars but feel the original response was unnecessary. I feel as a valued customer with no previous requests for faulty goods that this should have been taken into consideration straight away.

Worst experience ever first time…

Worst experience ever first time ordering from here for my daughter's birthday present when I have paid for it.and it has never been shipped and still no tracking number like they promised I complaint but all they care is the money not the customer

Missing most my order

Missing most my order, emailed photos and stated if no response i will be starting a chargeback, to be told by the delightful woman to wait 72 hours for a response and because i mearly mentioned chargeback they couldnt assist me anymore. Surely as a company you want to resolve the issue before it even come to a chargeback but no basically told to go away the more i email the less likely i am to get a response. I havent got my money back or my missing items I've filled in the forms I've sent pictures and still nothing. Used give me for years too dont think I will be anymore

Amazing hair products

Amazing hair products! I have wavy, frizzy hair and most the time I struggle to get a brush through it, my mum bought be the set for my birthday and wow! Hairbrush goes straight through it now no trouble, serum makes it super soft and heat protector does the job and smells great, we have just ordered another box set and will be ordering more for Christmas presents. No problem with website or delivery! Very happy.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I purchased a hair care gift set and when it arrived it didn’t have the full items that were described on box. I emailed customer services and kept receiving an automated service. I provided all the pics and details that they required and continued to receive emails saying I didn’t respond. I put comment on Facebook and they contacted me on Facebook straight away and just said they were out of stock and I wouldn’t receive the items missing. They said they would refund £3.30!! When I questioned this they said just to send it back. Terrible customer service!!!!

Great company and products

Made an order on a Thursday by Monday afternoon was delivered, one of the gift box was without a product but contacted customer service, sent the relevant evidence that was requested and within the same day was sent the missing item. Great products, great customer service. Accidents and missing products happen so I wasn’t angry about this and I cannot fault how quickly and effectively my issue was resolved! Will 100% be ordering more.

If I could give no stars for this company then I would. Having just had a shocking & appalling experience with them. I would avoid at all costs. They care more about their profits than their customers.
The Shampoo & Conditioner did the opposite to their claims on their packaging. Made my scalp dry & my hair greasy. Despite this, they have not allowed me to cancle or modify my subscription.
Be aware of signing up to any subscriptions as they remove your rights to cancel at any point. Locking you in to a minimum 2 payment term. Regardless of whether you get on with their products or not & then refuse to offer you a more suitable alternative. No customer care what so ever. Just money grabbers. NEVER have I ever experienced this before. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Absolutely terrible customer service

Absolutely terrible customer service. I ordered a bundle from them and it came in a cheap cardboard box with a large delivery label and not the presentation box I usually receive. This was for a present and without the box it will look cheap and tacky. After several emails they are refusing to send me a box.

Top quality

I’ve been using Give me shampoo and conditioners for well over a year now. Fabulous products recently ventured in to their skin range and they are just as good. Fabulous quality. Just bought lots of their gift sets in Black Friday sale for Christmas presents.

Have not received an item from advertised bundle and told that I didn't order it.

I have ordered many items from them over the years and love their products and recommend them to friends. Never before had an issue. The orchard dreams cream and body spray is amazing. However I've recently ordered as I have many times before the 5 skin routine set and one of the items is missing. On their website the pictures and description says that it is included. Plus the packaging shows a picture of the item that should be there. I messaged the company to say that it is missing and I'm told that I did not order that missing item and it is not included. It says a five step routine and not 4!! Why not just say sorry and agree to send missing item.Why lie!!! They are investigating but I'm disappointed with their attitude.
Edit since writing this review yesterday I did get another email from the company this morning apologising and have sent me the missing product. Thank you Give Me Cosmetics for dealing with this issue quickly.

Absolutely terrible customer service, Yodel said they delivered to my address, but did not, even the delivery photo, was of the wrong house!!! This awful company more or less called me a liar, by not believing me!!!! Don’t order from this company, all they are interested in, is taking your money, !!! Beware!!!!

I can see from previous email correspondence, we have requested you complete the standard form for all customers when advising their parcel has not arrived to which you have denied to do, this is required as per our terms and the couriers terms, so unless you are willing to complete the form sent then we are unable to escalate. This was advised in emails to yourself along with instructions on how to complete the form if you are unsure.

Unfortunately, without those details & the form being complete, we’re unable to resolve so we do urge you to complete and send back the form at your earliest convenience
