It worked earlier and paid for me few times via paypal, but suddenly the login option disappeared from the site without any notice. My balance stucked there. Currently it is unusable.

Closed cashbacks with my money in wallet.
Basically ran away holding my money. Scam.

Continued to operate on Black Friday 2021 and have custoemrs earn them commissions despite the fact that they had already ceased operations a d had a legal agreement in place stating they would not pay any monies earned before a date that .preceded Black Friday. Checks that had already been mailed out also bounced. They were always shady, but their exit move was just outright fraud.0

Don't waste your time!

You're lucky if you find a code that actually works! They're up there high when you Google promo codes. Good luck finding any that are actually real. 99% of the time, they're bad or fake. Most likely making money off click bait that sends you to the site with their affiliate link. I wouldn't waste your time with this site.

I'm being generous giving it 2 stars because I've saved money once or twice out of the dozens of times I've searched

I cannot access my account to withdraw my money which i collected there. Was not a huge amount as they always found excuses not to give the cash back but still. Today i tried enter the account i cant. I sent them email it bounced back. Since few months i kept sending them regarding the missing cash but they ever answered. So i stopped using their website but left my cash back there. Big mistake

They Suddenly Stopped Cash Back, And Blocked My Account Also, Without Any Reason

For years our charity has received checks from them. It looks like they have gone out of business. I don't think anyone was scamming people, I think they just went bankrupt or closed. They still owed us money but since it was free money for us I am thankful for what we received in the past.

I had to find out from outside sources that GIVING ASSISTANT is being "liquidated" and is shutting down. It appears they are not notifying any of their customers--even those who still think/thought they are earning cash-back. I got a strange email with legal language, but ignored it until now. It appears many customers will not get the cash they earned.

I experienced the same as other reviewers, I have been using giving assistant for about 2 years and received my payouts on time but in the past 3 months the website didn't let me search for a store but did let me go to the list and choose it. It seemed to be working that way and I would receive an email that cash back was processing, the most recent on December 17, but I haven't received any of my cash back since October.

cant login since last week. Looks like they took all the cashback money from retailers and took off.

Stopped counting cashbacks and even replying.

I have been using their services for 6 months. At first everything was fine. But since December they stopped paying cashback. There is no response in the chat. Their mail doesn't work anymore. They still owe me about $500! I wrote a letter to the Better Business Bureau. I hope they will help me there. I advise everyone who has suffered to contact the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General of California. It's a shame that there are still such scammers in such a great country!
And today, on December 23, 2021, they threw me out of my personal account altogether and I can no longer log into my personal account! In general, thank you guys from givingassistant for a great gift for Christmas! I never thought that in America such a thing could be and go unpunished! May it be rewarded!

Like others said, it's a scam, the checks bounce back, they never respond to chat or emails. Get a lawyer.

My bank returned two checks within a week saying that Its a "Frozen/blocked account". Reached out multiple times with no response. Beware of giving assistant.

Zero customer service feedback , claiming to send Paypal payments which was never done. AVOID & REPORT !!!

scam cash back site. Never receive cash back after purchase. No customer service. Email address for providing support was fake, email bounced back as I tried to get help. Go on their site, and literally no way to get hold of customer service. please avoid at all cost.

$3277.00 and counting. Totally free money and never a missed payment.

Have tried the codes a couple dozen times in the past two years. None have ever worked. This site is a waste of time. Will not use again.

BEWARE!!!

Giving Assistant is known for being fraudulent of not paying cash back for retail merchants. I'm owed THOUSANDS of dollars from Giving Assistant. I've hired an Attorney to handle this matter. I would suggest that everybody with a similar issue contact the Better Business Bureau and file a case. Also be sure to contact the California Attorney General and also Corporation B. Corp B. is basically the agency Giving Assistant answers to and monitors how the business is conducted.

UPDATE: My attorney filed a lawsuit... Giving Assistant ended up settling the lawsuit for $4,000. The people that work at Giving Assistant are snakes. I would encourage everybody who is owed money from Giving Assistant to take them to court. Giving Assistant is the most dishonest cash back site around. I'm so glad that I sued Giving Assistant and they were forced to pay me the money I was owed.

Giving Assistant has earned a grade F -
