Non-existent customer service
Ordered filters on a Saturday morning. Within 70 minutes, I realized I had ordered the wrong filters. I immediately e-mailed the company, both through their website and from my e-mail address, to cancel my order. No reply. On Monday morning, I repeatedly called their customer service number. Nobody ever answers. I e-mailed them again, but have received no reply. On Thursday, I received a notice that the filters I repeatedly tried to cancel have shipped.

Sleek system that runs without electricity
I purchased this filter after doing some research. I liked the design simplicity and the fact that it runs without electricity and fits easily underneath my kitchen sink.
The installation process was very simple but the instructions could be a little more detailed for plumbing novices. A helper to hold up the faucet will make it easier to fasten the nut underneath the sink.
I have communicated with customer service a few times because the initial water quality tests did not meet the specifications, and I have always received prompt and thorough responses to work out the kinks.

I have been buying GE water filter replacements for years. The price continues to go up. Glacier has created a superior filter with RFID technology that is better than the OEM product. Plus they are less expensive making it easier on your household budget. I refuse to use anything else’s but glacier filters and you ships as well. You won’t be sorry

I purchased a 6-Pack of their XWFE…
I purchased a 6-Pack of their XWFE compatible filters and not one of them worked. The RFID chips were not recognized and my refrigerator kept saying error. This company has zero customer service and they do not stand by their “money back guarantee.” They kept an endless loop of emails saying they were so sorry but refused to refund or offer any fix. Do not buy from this company.
UPDATE: After extensive excuses and wasting of my time, I did finally receive a refund. But let’s continue with full disclosure, Glacier Fresh only gave the refund after finding this review on TrustPilot. They also attempted to bribe me by offering me $5 via PayPal to change my review. If they would’ve done the right thing, the first time, this would not be an issue. Life is full of teachable moments.

GlacierFresh 2.25 Gallon Stainless Steel Countertop
Purchased a gravity countertop canister as I was tired of buying bottles of water. I also wanted to be environmentally conscious. I can see my trash has come down a lot. In terms of taste, I have to say, the water tastes amazing. My issue is with the design and customer service. The canister has a flaw; it leaks at the bottom. Water is infiltrating through a welded part of the canister and then finding its way out through the bottom. Sadly, you wake to a water mess on the kitchen counter. The second part is customer service; no response after 3 emails with videos and pictures of the problem. Hopefully, they can fix this flaw and provide timely customer service.

customer service not great
I received my stainless steel water filtration system and, after assembly, immediately noticed that the lower chamber is leaking, leaving my entire kitchen counter soaked.
I reached out to customer service and received an automated notice that the entire company is away on a nine-day trip. I was then asked to provide photos and video, which I promptly submitted. The only response I’ve received since is that the team is “evaluating whether this is due to damage or installation.” Nothing since!
There is virtually no opportunity for improper installation — the system consists of a stainless steel chamber nested inside another. The issue appears to be a product defect.
I understand that companies may have scheduled travel; however, this should not compromise customer support, particularly when customers receive defective products. It is unreasonable to expect buyers to simply be patient and accommodating when their item arrives faulty and unusable.It is understandable that defects can occasionally occur. However, when they do, they should be addressed promptly and resolved without unnecessary delay. Receiving a defective product is frustrating in itself — the handling of the issue should not add to that frustration. Based on this experience alone I would not order from them again. I dont want to have to wait for weks to get this resolved if even.
