Works Great and Costs Less
The glacier fresh water filter replacement for my GE side by side refrigerator was much less expensive than the OEM version and was just as easy to install. The water quality is excellent and tastes great (no difference compared to the original GE XWFE filter). I got the two-pack and saved even more money and it arrived within a few days as promised. I highly recommend this brand.

Overall
Overall, it's a very good experience. The order arrived on time and securely packaged. We have used it for two months now and are very pleased with it. The design is great. It looks elegant sitting on the side table in the dinningroom. Todate, we have no negative comments to make and hopefully, there will always be great coments to share. I am, however, a little uncertain if I will be able to clean the filter, and change it when it's time.

We love the water, so clear & tasteless!
We use the water for all consumption now, including the dogs water. It's really easy to use as well. We keep the unit on our kitchen counter & don't use the pedestal so it fits under the upper cabinets. We kept it though in case we want to use it elsewhere.

Really fixed our water taste issue!
Have been using the manufacturer's brand water filter in our LG fridge, but the water/ice had an unpleasant taste - even after replacing the filter to fix. Ordered the Glacier Fresh to test them. The bad taste was gone! The ordering process was streamlined and clear.

2nd time purchase of these filters for my GE refrigerator, Model# PVD28BYNFS. They fit perfectly and the chip works flawlessly, as if an OEM GE filter. Not only do they work great, the price point for these filters (w/chip) is well below the GE filters. Finally, the built in water and ice dispenser provides better tasting water than the original filters that came with the fridge. Definitely worth the purchase.

It’s been a long time since I tasted great water from my fridge. Using the refrigerator’s suggested brand fell short, so short, that I resorted to using bottled water. Then, I saw a brand called Glacier Fresh. At first I had my doubts, especially because the filter price was almost half of what I had been paying. I decided to give Glacier Fresh a try only to discover water tasting like it was meant to taste. Fresh! Pure! Delicious! Bought three filters and will buy more.
