Not very good in my opinion. Unable to remove a stain I was then able to remove with a £3 carpet cleaning spray from Tesco. Sorry I never went with a different company.

Carpet still wet after 48hrs…. Heating on, windows open. Clear it was a rushed job.

What can I say I've read some reviews on here and to my personal opinion I today have had a Gleaners cleaner here to Valet my Land Rover and the service was amazing car looks amazing inside and out and the person from Gleaners Ellis was spoken well,polite friendly from the moment he arrived till he left will definitely be calling again soon thanks for the nice clean car money well spent ! I can't do it myself so it's nice to know your a call away and fast too ! Merry Christmas all ! Tony , Speke .

My experience with Gleamers was deeply disappointing from start to finish. After speaking with a reasonably helpful representative over the phone to book the service, things quickly went downhill. The appointment was set for 10:00 AM and I was assured it would be their first job of the day. Due to work commitments, I arranged for my parent to be present at the property.

The team did not arrive until 10:45 AM and didn’t begin work until after 11:00 AM — a clear disregard for punctuality. Even more unprofessional was the presence of a woman who accompanied the operative, did nothing to assist, sat on the toilet on her phone, and took photos — presumably to use my apartment as a marketing case study without permission.

The agreed price for the service was £85, confirmed both during the initial booking and again the day before. My 75-year-old father had the exact amount ready. Despite this, the operative attempted to charge over £120 — even after admitting the carpets were in excellent condition and the job had been easier than expected. Trying to exploit an elderly man by inflating the cost last minute is not only unethical, it’s disgraceful. My father offered £90 as a goodwill gesture, which should have been the end of it.

When I contacted Gleamers later that day to raise my concerns, I was met with an appallingly rude, immature, and aggressive response from a staff member who seemed more interested in arguing than addressing the issue professionally.

I strongly advise anyone considering Gleamers to get every detail confirmed in writing before the appointment — especially the price. Also, be prepared for poor punctuality and questionable conduct on site. This was an unprofessional and frustrating experience from a company that clearly lacks integrity.

Buyer Beware: Cleaning Service requires that you clean your sofa before they do. Left my sofa worse than before they arrived. When contacting customer service they said the sofa should have been hoovered before they came to clean it! Customer service so bad it actually made me laugh. Anyway do yourself a favour and avoid these cowboys.

Part of my rug was cleaned he was not in the house more than 20 minutes he basically cleaned the middle of the rug but all round the sides of the carpet has NOT been cleaned at all there is still a tea stain on the rug and when I said to him there’s still a stain he just shrugged and said “it’s a stain” carried on packing up and left if I could put a video up of the dirt and stain that was left I would

Didn’t show and didn’t ring when I chased up was told he was off sick and would I like to rebook! Dreadful customer service

I hired Gleamers Cleaning to clean my sofas, and while the two men who came were polite and friendly, the overall service has been extremely disappointing. They wet washed all of my sofas, leaving the floors soaked in the process. Worse still, the sofas look exactly the same — stains are still visible — and I’m now concerned the fibres have been damaged as I was told by Gleamers themselves that suede shouldn’t be wet washed.

When I called twice over a week to raise the issue of the sofas looking exactly the same before and after cleaning, I was told that the manager was away for an indefinite amount of time and unavailable to speak with me. The staff member even admitted, “We can’t guarantee stain removal” and that “suede can’t be wet washed,” yet had no explanation for why that’s exactly what was done.

I paid £90 for a service that not only failed to improve the appearance of my sofas, but may have also caused long-term damage — and I’ve been offered no resolution. Very disappointing experience overall. Would not recommend.

The carpet on my stairs & landing was 6 days old and had already been ruined. Richie reassured me it would come right up and he was right! It looks brand new again. I’m so pleased with the service. 100% will be booking again. Thank you Richie!

We had an accident involving some glass and our carpet was stained quite badly with blood. I got in touch with Gleamers to see if they could get the stains out and also come out as soon as possible. Gleamers were professional, friendly and made my carpet look brand new again. Very impressed with the service.

The online booking system is very easy for us (pensioners) I gave 3 stars for the booking system
This will be our very first sofa clean. I've checked the weather & booked on a sunny day. Hopefully they will dry within the 4 hours recommended.

Don’t use this company. The guy turned up to clean my sofa which I booked a week ago. He started shouting at me that he wasn’t going to just clean my sofa and I had to pay his petrol etc. Disgusting behaviour! When I said I only booked a sofa clean he shouted it’s cancelled and stormed off. I was glad to see him leave.
