Superb service. Ordered a pair of ski boots, got a great deal on them. The boots arrived super quickly. After a week of skiing there was a slight problem with one of the power straps - the team sent me replacement straps promptly. Thank you so much for great service.

This is my second boot fitting with G&S, first one was with Tom and today's with Oli. Amazing service, knowledge and ability to adjust and amend. I've experienced other boot fitting operations in the region, independent and chain, but nothing comes close to the expertise at G&S. I would highly recommend.

Living in north Northumberland, the trip to Otley takes a while, but every time we have been there for ski equipment and ski boot service we have been extremely impressed. The staff are friendly, knowledgable and very helpful. The range of products stocked is carefully curated and all of good quality. We can wholeheartedly recommend them for all your ski equipment needs.

Ordered a ski helmet at a great price yesterday afternoon and it arrived this morning in perfect condition, exactly as described.

Superb shop and wouldn’t go anywhere else for ski gear and boots. They offer a lifetime fit guarantee so years after buying a pair you can get them checked and remoulded! What a service.

Great brands and show gear too

New ski boots after having my previous ones 11years, fantastic, honest service from my fitter, (apologies can’t remember his name). Took plenty of time to get them right, did need to go back for some adjustment, but to be expected. All at a competitive price. Also had my last set of ski’s from them as well. Would highly recommend.

My son is a very good experienced skier but has problems with both feet, i wanted him to have a good ski boot, which allows him to ski without pain, Ally Bolton was excellent and nothing was too much trouble, he gave so much attention to detail and nothing was too much trouble, we came away very satisfied and excited to try the boots. It's really reassuring to know that if he is any pain at all once he has worn them, we can go back and they will be adjusted. So much work, time and effort went into making the right boot for my son. I expected to pay so much more money, but Ally was more about getting the right boot for my son than selling the most expensive boot which he said would infact be no better due to the issues with his feet. I wouldn't go anywhere else

Glide+slide website with a good purchasing experience, I thought I’d buy again this time some ski mitts for my daughter. As always quick delivery and choice is great on their website, unfortunately this time I bought the mitts they were a lot bigger than required for my daughters very slim hands so had to return them. Sent back on a Wednesday, and by late Thursday morning (next day) received a refund. Absolutely fantastic service, I can’t praise enough as I wasn’t expecting the refund so soon. A few other companies would not sort a refund so quickly. Will certainly be buying from glide slide in future. Thanks glide slide. Warren.
