The ethos of high-quality merchandise, value for money and expert service started by George Livingston more than 100 years ago is today carried on by his great-grandson Andrew Livingston, his wife Sue and their son Lewis, who is the fifth generation to work in this proudly-independent family-run business.

Visit this shop everytime we visit Scotland. This time 21/09/21 the lady manager was lovely to talk to and very helpful. The jacket I ordered on line when returned home arrived quickly and was beautifully parcelled. Very happy. I highly recommend this local company for their high quality clothes.

I lived in Dumfries and Galloway for ten years. Castle Douglas has a population of about 4000. For it to have a shop of this quality is wonderful. You normally find shops like this only in London and Edinburgh. Top quality. Great service. Nothing negative about it.

My family and I are long term customers…
My family and I are long term customers of G Livingston and Son and we have always had excellent service and come away with very high quality bespoke suits. I was delighted and not at all surprised when Lewis Livingston generously agreed to donate a very generous gift token as a prize for an event I was helping to organise for Maggie's Cancer Centres.
I could not recommend G Livingston and Co more highly.
