SCAM dont order if not in Korea
Dont order if you are not in Korea living in paris placed an order, never received it, they are blaming the local post office which s i born never had any issue they said the delivery was attempted but the adress refused. How? Im ordering worldwide never had any issue when i asked for refund they said that they cant do it. Im opening a case against them this is a scam, they use a private transportation and blamed it on my local one and actually if it was the local one they will call me as usual since my number was on it never received a call or else.

I’m in Australia I have been a happy customer since 2022 until my most recent order. The total value of my order was US$187 which was eligible for a 25% discount. I did go through the website before checking out didn’t see the promotion code so I thought I could be wrong so paid the entire order (they changed the location of promotion code not in where it supposed to be—and I wonder whether this is why given my recent experience). After placed my order a push notification came out then I located the promotion code. I contacted the customer service said according to the current promotion I’m eligible and entitled for US$50 discount required refund and happy to receive store credit if it makes things easier. I contacted THREE times they refused to refund the over payment!!! US$50!!! Customer service are very rude (once it’s paid no refund and no return!) It’s just ugly the way they handled the situation.

Despite paying the correct amount, the receipt and records show inaccurate information, which has caused issues with customs and duty claims. This unethical practice has not only wasted my time but also raised concerns about the integrity of their billing process. I expected better from a reputable brand like Olive Young. Please address this issue immediately and ensure transparency in future transactions.
Just an FWI They also TREATED me if I don’t pay the duty tax they won’t refund me! Even though their website is blocking you to place a purchase bigger than the allowed free customer clearance in your country!
Bad customer service and solution!
I used to be very satisfied with Olive Young’s service—until my last order. I placed an order in early December, but by the end of the month, I still hadn’t received it. The local shipping company in my home country said my address was incomplete, only showing the ward name and code. Later, they claimed they didn’t know where my package was and they will called me once they knew. Eventually, it was sent back to Olive Young. When I requested a refund or reshipment, Olive Young refused, blaming me entirely—even though the address issue was partly their fault.
I paid $115 and tax fees, and now I have neither my order nor my money. I’ve never had such a bad experience shopping online. Olive Young’s customer service is terrible!

I’ve been a faithful customer and never been so happy I can shop from Olive Young in US. Until THIS happened. Box came destroyed and open when it arrived. There were several items missing. I immediately contacted Olive Young, who said will launch an investigation. A month and more later, i’m STILL waiting.. they took my payment, but i’m missing my stuff.
I think their standard of customer service is very low. It’s a global corporation, and for them to make their customer wait for months “waiting for an investigation” leaves a very bitter taste in my mouth. Im very disappointed.
Pointless
I put a bunch of stuff in my cart and was told I had to create an account to check out. Ok. I did, and as soon as I did it, they erased my cart. I sent them an email and they said it had been over 60 days since I abandoned my cart??? More like however long it took to make an account? And now they won't respond to my emails. Worthless.
Scam
I was caught off guard by the lack of transparency at Olive Young. After placing an order for $62 worth of products, I was hit with a $23 tax and fee after shipment—none of which was disclosed during checkout. It's outrageous that I was expected to know about these additional costs without any warning. This is not how a reputable company should operate. I formally requested a refund, and a week later, this is the response I received from them.

First time ordering and more than happy
This was my first time ordering from Olive Young and I couldn’t be happier. The parcel was shipped within 48 hours and delivery took under a week. The items were packed well and arrived in perfect condition.
For UK buyers who are confused by the customs process - the limit to import into the country £135 but Olive Young adds a charge for insurance (I think another reviewer said it’s £10 but the amount might depend on the size of the order) and this is included in the £135
Also the value of the items declared on the customs form is value of the item, not what you paid for it. So if you have discounts make sure you factor the full price when you’re adding up the total.
A rule of thumb I go by whenever I’m ordering from Korea is to not order more than £100 - £110 worth in one go. This gives you a buffer if anything else, like the insurance fees, are added. I have never been charged customs by keeping to this limit.
Also don’t order food. It’s a customs nightmare.

First purchase. Was a bit dubious after I read so many bad reviews of customs charges and parcels not turning up. It's been one week since I ordered and it's just arrived. Everything, including the freebies. I spent £80 so was really concerned about customs charges after so many people said they were charged them even when they were below the allowed import amount. I'm so pleased and knew I had to review to let people know they're not the fraudsters people claim them to be. I think you usually review when it's bad and people forget to review when they have a good experience.

Misleading invoice and extracharges
So i have been getting their ads a lot and as korean skincare is popular i decided to try it
The personal allowance for buying something online with out having to pay duty tax and customs is 135 pounds, so i kept under that which was 126 pounds and this is what i was sent in the invoice but to my surprise when delivering my parcel via DHL they asked for 50 pounds in taxes as the invoice they have is different and olive young adds an insurance of 10 pounds, which they never mention in their website nor sent to you in the invoice or mentioned anywhere.
And eventhough i have paid the dutytax i am still waiting for my parcel which is another whole bad experience with DHL.
Excessive Tax for items below CA$100
I recently made my first purchase from Olive Young, and I was really looking forward to it. However, I was shocked to find that my purchase of CA$95.67 resulted in CA$34.55 in import duties and customs clearance service charges. This fee feels excessively high compared to my previous experiences with other sites like Stylevana and YesStyle, where I didn’t face such issues.
While I appreciate the variety Olive Young offers, the lack of transparency regarding potential extra charges before checkout is disappointing. This experience has left me hesitant to shop here again.
No Italy shipping

Brilliant service
Brilliant service. Each order I have placed has been delivered from South Korea to the UK in a couple of days! Not only is the service first class but the products and pricing from Olive Young are fantastic. I have nothing but praise for them.
Good experience (for the most part)
I have done multiple orders with Olive Young so far.
The first two deliveries I did took a while to get shipped, but once shipped the parcels then quickly arrived in the UK. The thrid was so much quicker to ship and is on its way to me right now.
Each parcel has been packed well and survived the long distance travel. and I love most of the products I have ordered
Note if you order food they don't fill out the customs form. I recieved a phone call from the delivery company asking me to send over the information on what food I ordered and what the ingredients for... which for one of them isn't even listed on the website.
Custom service take a while to respond, and the only time I have contacted them was regarding delivey and by the time they got back to me I had already been sent delivery notice update.
And to note for those who are unaware, but they don't offer refunds on parcels that are returned. It does say that before you complete check out. Luckily I haven't had this happen to me (and fingers crossed it doesn't).
Additional fees
Be aware of the custom clearance fees that are imposed on the order, usually companies will refund or pay for your custom fees (e.g. YesStyle, Codibook…) but Oliveyoung does not and when your order arrives at the custom you will realise you have an additional fee to pay, which you wouldn’t know the amount beforehand. In my case, I had to pay a total of $73.72CAD to get my order to me. The shipping was also quite slow.

This is my first time using Olive Young and I’m beyond happy with my order. The delivery was so fast and the products are in perfect condition! I’m very happy with everything, especially considering the prices, they’re more than reasonable for the quality of the products! I personally had no problems and I’d gladly use Olive Young again in the future.
I had an extremely disappointing…
I had an extremely disappointing experience with the Olive Young app. I spent €260 on Korean skincare products, expecting high-quality items, but what I received appears to be fake. The eye cream was of poor quality and completely different from the authentic product I’ve purchased before from a UK store. Worse, the other products caused severe skin itching, burning sensations, and irritation.
It took four weeks for the order to arrive, only to discover that the products were not up to standard. This feels like a huge scam. I trusted Olive Young as a reliable source for Korean beauty products, but this experience has completely shattered that trust.
If you’re considering ordering from this app, be cautious. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone unless they can prove the authenticity of the products they are selling.

Ordered from olive young for the first time..well..the shipper dhl didnt deliver the parcel to me ..1st time I didnt have the money for custom cost...so I tried to reschedule but the 2. And 3rd time dhl didnt bother ringing my Bell.. just messaged me that I wasnt home.. so no way for me to receive it..then got the message my parc2l Was returned..I messaged olive young and just got the message its not their issue if I was not there and to contact dhl to inquire about the package ...so no products and no refund for me...bitter ..great experience..never again..
