Ordered a taxi from outskirts of Bristol to Stansted airport. I am a woman traveling by herself which was made clear on communications. The taxi came didn't say hello from that moment I was anxious tried to engage in a light conversation..nothing I have been terrified for nearly 3 hours I am written this shaking as I have just got out the taxi. I had to Google the route the whole way so I knew we were going the right way and I had my friend on standby on the phone as I was scared for my safety.... yes he turned up on time and yes im at my destination but the mental stress I have just been under all because he couldn't say hello or open the door or anything humain. My fault I looked for the cheapest option and obviously thats what you get no service and scared all the way !

we used Global cars for transportation to and from Southampton in July. When we landed at Heathrow driver wasnt at the arrivals area as we were told he would be. He finally contacted us and asked us if we could meet him at terminal one, we were at terminal 3! We told him we dont even know where T3 is. He finally found us after many calls etc. He was wearing a t- shirt and smelled horrible. All other drivers looked professional. Finally got to SH after wasting almost an hour. Next review will be trip back from SH cruise. When i called to confirm our trip back to Heathrow I told them we were on the APEX ship and we will not have cell service. They confirmed this.
We got off ship,went to pick up area and waited for almost 45 mins for driver. I finally went inside terminal and got wi fi. Called driver, he was at another ship!!! he finally showed up as we were the only ones left in pickup area. I told him he should have read the reservation info everything was written down. thank god we had plenty of time to get to airport.
Moral of story, pay more money and get a reputable company . Take bus from ship to airport, it might be more money but at least youll get there on time with no stress.

I can thoroughly recommend Global Cars and particularly Rajah. I have used them/him on 3 recent occasions to go back and forward from Bracknell to Heathrow. Rajah has always been very pleasant and helpful and his car is spotless. He has always been punctual and explains exactly where to meet at the airport. DM (Bracknell)
