Everything about this tour was excellent from the director, food driver, and of course the local guides. Whale watching, puffins, lighthouses and more.
Thanks Globus,Mel and Gary. Globus all the way

Tour Guide and Planning
The tour guide is the key to any successful group vacation and Todd D., our tour guide, was perfect!
The entire vacation was well planned out and executed without a hitch.
My only negative thought is that the food was good/ok but nothing really great. But...maybe Alaska doesn't offer what I was looking for in the way of meals.
The entire vacation was well worth the expense.

Not what it was
I have traveled with Globus many times in the past. I felt that this trip was not up to previous standards, especially concerning hotel accommodations and dining venues. The hotels seemed to be 3-star quality, even skimping on something as small as tissues in the rooms.
Our tour guide, Theo, was very organized and efficient. However he had NO knowledge regarding food allergies. A few travelers expressed their dietary needs and he blew them off, indicating he thought this was a preference, not a major health concern.
1st group tour, will likely tour again with Globus
Our tour director was wonderful! Knowledgeable, friendly, organized, helpful, patient and kind to the highest degree. The sites were well chosen and most enjoyable.
One suggestion- give out a roster of guest with first names only and where they're from
Great trip
Great trip. Love to tell people how professional globus and how much they truly care
The still wonderful west!!
I especially enjoyed the variety of places we saw, the experiences we had, how well organized the entire tour was, and how knowledgeable, personable and passionate about the history, geology, geography and art our guide, Steve was. Our driver, Galen, was also very personable, competent and the two of them had a really good rapport. The scenery was absolutely magnificent, our tour group friendly and fun, our accommodations were diverse and great, our eating opportunities were many and delicious. Just an amazing, wonderful experience from every angle!!
Super Tour Director
Our tour director, Jason Capalongo, “Cap” added so much to our experience. His personality and generosity were very much appreciated.
We thought the itinerary was a perfect mix of activities and downtime. The accommodations were top of the line.
Halifax, Price Edward Island, cape Breton, Bay of Fundy all amazing
The various places we visited in all three Provinces of Canada and the Bay of Fundy was amazing. Our tour guide was like traveling with a friend who knew the area so well where we were going in history behind it. our driver was a great guy.
Enchanting Italy Tour with Ciro
The entire trip was well planned and a great mix of activities and free time. Our tour director, Ciro, was incredible. He was friendly, informative, and always calm. We always knew what was coming the next day, but he encouraged us to stay in the present. This allowed me to really enjoy each activity.
Globus Canadian Rockies
Tour Guide Doug and Driver Riza were excellent! The weather cooperated and we saw superb views of the Canadian Rockies! Thanks Globus
Beyond Expectations
We were on the go from the welcoming to the farewell dinner. As detailed as the written itinerary of the trip may be, it cannot capture the beauty and texture of the experiences we had. Machu Picchu is indeed the highlight of the trip viewed during the afternoon and shortly after sunrise when we waited for the low clouds to part to reveal the site framed against the surrounding mountains. What stays in our minds are our introductions to the present day rituals and living environments that have their roots in Inka and earlier cultures – the El Pago a la Tierra (Mother Earth) ceremony, the traditions of the Lake Titicaca people on Taquile Island, the Nazca geoglyphs, and the cruise to the Ballestas Islands.
Adrian Macedo, our tour director, was outstanding. He is a walking encyclopedia about Peru from its history to the current food scene. He was very attentive to our tour group’s needs. He brought out his magic carpet to whisk us seamlessly on five internal flights, two train rides, two boat rides, and numerous on and offs from buses. Globus is wise to have him as its Man in Peru.
Complementing him were excellent local guides – Alex in Cusco, Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu and Alcides in Puno and Lake Titicaca. Not only did they provide facts but also infused their talks with the deep seeded pride they have for their region, its people, and history.
Finally, the hotel rooms were beyond what we expected. They were all rated five stars. What we experienced were well appointed rooms and grounds and most importantly the welcoming spirit and helpfulness of the staff. The breakfast at the hotels offered well prepared foods including individually prepared egg dishes if requested. Lunches and dinner were delicious – the two most memorable were the restaurant next to a petrol station where I had my go to dish, rice and beans enhanced with a local spicey rocoto (a Peruvian pepper) sauce and our welcoming dinner at Casa Gracia Alvarado, a private home in Miraflores, with Anna Maria, the current owner. The Casa has been declared part of Peru’s Cultural Heritage – a very special treat indeed.
Our only caveat is that travelers on this tour have a good level of physical fitness. However, three in our group used canes and Adrian helped to make sure that wheelchairs were provided at airports and modified (shorter distances and less elevation changes) routes were available.
We highly recommend this Globus tour.

The beauty of Scotland
The beauty of Scotland, the staff, the destinations, the people, the food, the excursions, the tour director and driver made this tour stress free and exceeded our expectations in every category!
This was a wonderful experience
This was a wonderful experience. The Globus itinerary was robust, and the trip was more physically demanding than we anticipated having done a previous safari with Globus in southern africa. Hours-long drives in safari vehicles over poorly maintained roads between destinations took its toll on us. That said, the accommodations were remarkable and well located for game viewing. The driver/ guides were extremely competent and very knowledgeable regarding every animal species we encountered. The pacing of the trip was appropriate with adequate rest periods between events. Communication from the tour directors (different in each country) was appropriate and we never lacked anything. With the exception of leopards, we saw PLENTY of safari animals, including births, mating, and lion and cheetah kills. We saw, up close, so many zebras, giraffe, gazelle, antelope, wart hogs, elephants, and even rhinos that by the end, we were only interested in seeing the big cats up close. I would recommend the Globus East Africa safari experience to anyone with reasonable mobility and endurance.
It was a great experience
It was a great experience. The tour itinerary was very well paced and we visited many places The coach driver and guide were fantastic.
Suggestions-
1. More inclusions, eg Blamey castle instead of free time there. Kissing of Blamey stone can be extra
2. Include the tipping for the driver and guide in the tour price cause there were some envelopes left empty on the bus when it came to tipping

Everything about this trip was perfect
Everything about this trip was perfect! The tour director was so friendly and well organized and kept us informed at each step. The accommodations were beautiful and the staff at every hotel were so attentive and helpful. We saw such a wide diversity of animals at the safari sites! I also loved the extra stops we made to see how weaving is done, how tea/coffee are grown, and to see life in a Maasai village. Amazing trip in every sense and aspect of the trip!
