The equipment arrived on time and was fitted in one day. The electrician was very helpful and did a extremely neat job. Now just waiting for all the paperwork.

From the first phone call to the installation and final confirmation Glow Green Solar did a very professional job.
We had thought installing Solar panels and an EV charger would be a difficult and complex but our contact Connah Andrews guided us through the process from the initial quotes to the installation dates and team.
That all went ahead as planned with the work completed in the day allocated. Chris and Stuart did a great job throughout.
The EV charger and a small amount of completion on the solar took place a week later and all is up and running perfectly. We are just awaiting the DNO final tie off so we can make money from the power we are exporting to the grid.

The planning went smoothly the installation date eventually came. Unfortunately the battery and inverter had to be fitted outside the lockable drive area due to the position of a drain pipe. Although the feed cables from the roof panels were originally clipped to a rain down pipe this was corrected and run in a protective pipe fastened to the wall. Overall the system operates well as originally designed.

The sales process was great, the installation all went to plan and the solution works. When I asked about the certificate and paperwork, I was told it would be provided once I paid the final balance. Once I paid - nothing, silence, no replies to my emails.
With the current heatwave, I am producing plenty of surplus energy that in theory I should be receiving money back. But in order to have a tariff, I need the MCS certificate. This should be provided with 10 days. Over a month later, I am still waiting for any paperwork. My energy supplier OVO checked the database and confirmed, no certification has been logged to date. This means all the surplus energy I am producing is going to the grid for free. Very disappointing.
Update 20.08.: although the customer team got in touch on 3 August and assured me they would chase up the paper work, I have still not received anything today and they stopped responding. My energy supplier advised the certificate is required for an SEG tariff, I am still feeding my surplus to the grid for free. According to the app I should have earned £140 by now!

From start to end I have had the best service I could have hoped for.
On the install day, the installers alerted me to a serious problem with my roof, and Glow Green gave me a little more time to get a new roof installed so that it was safe and stable (I didn't even know I needed a new roof at that point).
Everyone I spoke to, or interacted with were awesome. This company is customer focussed, and I chose it because of good reviews but the service I received surpassed my expectations.
Highly recommended based on my experience.

I was sceptical at first just sending pictures off for our solar and battery installation. However, it all worked out really well. All the equipment arrived a few days before and was safely stored in our garage. The scaffolding was erected without any issues. On the installation day all went according to plan. The team on the roof inspected our roof tiles while they were up there too. The electrician Jay fitted everything neatly and efficiently. The Fox app was installed on my phone to check the performance and to control the panels. The Hive app however is another story. That was installed on my partner’s phone and it’s not fit for purpose. Glow Green is trying to fix the issue for us with Hive but I am not hopeful as we had been trying to contact Hive but they don’t answer the phone and the AI chat is useless. My main point of contact at Glow Green for the solar was Sebastian and he was a great communicator. Keeping me informed and answering any questions promptly. We are very please with the whole installation from start to finish. Just hope to get the Hive sorted!

After requesting a solar quote via Hive, and being put in touch with Glow Green, the team have been amazing from the very start through to the installation and after care.
Getting a quote from Rhys (and multiple revisions!), talking through the design with the electrician, the information from the scheduling team, the electrian and roofers who came to install, and the after care team - everything was fantastic. Despite some small oil splashes from the scaffolder's truck, the experience has been fantastic.

Sometimes you can be worried about it being such a big investment, but the team have been with us throughout, and there's been lots of check in's post install to ensure things are working, fixing some minor issues, and getting all the documents across to us.

Would definitely recommend glowgreen for solar and battery installs.

Very easy to deal with, competitive price, everything done when they said it would be and left everything nice and tidy. Did a thorough handover after installation and brought forward the scaffolding removal as we were going on holiday. All in all a great experience, would definitely recommend.

Despite some problem with delivering the right parts all went well. Installer and electrician were very competent. Jamie the electrician was particularly proactive in following up. The system is working well

Very good experience from planning to installation and aftercare

The two engineers were great lads - really helped me to explore where the best location for the battery was. Everything has worked flawlessly since minute 1. Really pleased with the whole service.

Very good value. Top notch products. All who attended my property for install were good grafters and did a good job. Only experience that wasn’t top notch was coms. Sometimes hard to get ahold of people.

This company is an absolute joke. Any comments are deleted on social media and any that do manage to get through for a short amount of time are always horrendous, so I'm not sure where the good reviews are coming from on this site. They happily take your money and then after that they are useless. Delay after delay with installation. Then the system was installed incorrectly, wrong parts were sent and it has been 5 months since Initial install date and we still don't have a working system and now they don't/won't return calls

I had a great experience with GlowGreen from the get-go. At the start I was very hesitant about actually buying a package, but I wanted to know more. The salesman, Jack, wasn't pushy at all and answered all my questions prior to committing to a purchase.

Once we got the ball rolling the whole team from planning to install were very helpful and nice. Everything happened exactly as and when they said it would. The entire process was seamless and smooth and surprisingly quick.

Highly recommend them, my panels are performing exactly as they predicted as well, probably even better at the moment!
