I have had a similar experience to the others here. Initally the prices were good. Then huge hikes, outrageous estimated bills and impossible to keep track of the actual cost of my bill. Despite submitting meter readings. I eventually left, very unhappy. Be careful they put you on a 2-year contract. Which they don't state very clearly. Over - avoid.

Shady tariffs and bad customer service.
They initially offer you a tariff and after a couple of months, they increase you the tariffs giving unacceptable reasons, while they offer much cheaper tariffs to new customers.

Continuously sending outrageous bills
Continuously sending outrageous bills. my bill should average 35 per month they are regularly charging me 100+ Even tho i give meter readings they still go on "national average, due to covid" say they can not read meter with covid but I have given them readings. Have phoned and given readings and they said I never did. Also left readings on website which is another joke. Unclear billing. Graphs and tables on the website mean nothing. Mark my queries as closed even tho they have been asked for response. Have instructed them not to take any money from my ac until I hear from them with an explanation. Still nothing.

I have now spoken to a very helpful Glowpower representative about billing problems. We have finally
reached an amicable payment schedule reflecting the fact that my properties are both empty and not currently using much power, if any. Although this has taken a long time to reach concensus, we finally got there! I look forward to many years of Glowpower service!

The worst customer experience in the…
The worst customer experience in the world. We cancelled the contract in August and are still recieving invoices in November. We called the customer support around 15x and have exchanged numerous emails. And they kept on overcharging us.

This company are a shambles they send bills out all over the place the last one I got last week basically says my meter is going backwards the last estimate was 50628 my estimate this month is 50217 so they are now paying me a refund I am tearing my hair out they are absolutely useless

Terrible, terrible, terrible.
I have been direct debited twice for the past 3 month. I complained several times and was told that I need to take it up with my bank as its nothing to do with them. However direct debit was made by Glow Power. I gave them the debit reference and they still can not sort out the problem ie refund me. I also gave several meter readings and asked to update my bill which they have failed to do also.

In the middle of my contract, they sent a message about a large increase in their prices. My contract only gives a fixed discount not fixed prices as many would assume. There is lots of media coverage of suppliers dropping their prices during the period, but they increased theirs. Completly unjustified. Avoid at all costs.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service, bill was treble the normal price. They can't send you a bill on time, never take payments on time it changes every month. I'm switching provider again not worth the hassle
Major issues with billing system and incompetent staff.
I recently swtiched energy supppliers from Electric Ireland to Glowpower, a new entry iinto the energy supply market in Ireland (Australian Company). A decision I have seriously regretted ever since.
Since I have signed up, every single bill I have received has been wildly innacurate despite having supplied meter readings. On one occassion, they were trying to charge me almost €1000 where my average monthly bill is about €80.00.
I contacted 4 different people in the company over a 3 week period before it was resolved. Each time I explained in detail the issue. Each time I was told it would be resolved. On 3 occassions they did not resolve it and sent me the same €1000 bill again. Only after I requested a complaint number and threatened to escalate to the regulator was I able to get it resolved. I made this request twice before a manager contacted me. I was still not issued with a complaint number.
I contacted the regulator to request advice as the company were not following their own procedures and would not issue me with a complaint number. All they did was tell me what the procedurte was which I was aware of. I clearly asked for advice on what to do when the company were refusing to follow their own procedures. So the staff member in the Regulators office did not either read my email correctly or misunderstood it.
With all that said. It is not worth all the agro. I just have to double check my bills each month and continue to correct them.
My advice is to stay away and stick to the established providers. Less likely to have issues and more likely to find it easier to resolve issues.
