It's outrageous how a delivery person…
It's outrageous how a delivery person can ruin your day. I opened the door for the delivery person and he left without leaving my package. I called customer service and told him the problem and he said there was nothing he could do and that he had returned the package to the warehouse. I ordered 3 cabinets from VidaXl, how could I carry them home considering that the delivery was paid for? Shame on you for the way you cooperate with your customers!!!

They don’t reply. I send them emails they say absolutely nothing whatsoever. Their customer support chat has been dead silent. This is absolutely ridiculous!
Terrible service
Terrible service! GLS PT email saying the order is out for delivery, and then about 10 minutes later, they send another email saying that delivery failed due to absence — even though we are at home home and no one came to the door.
Never use GLS courier service very bad service.

They don't even try to deliver, they don't send you an e-mail when to "expect", they don't try to call you. They automatically drop the pack at the pick-up point. Never properly delivered a single pack to me. The service center is a disaster. This is GLS Portugal

They are the worst crooks in the courier service ! They pretend to have tried to deliver but never show up and simply leave the parcel at a drop off location .

The absolute worse..
The absolute worse... It's been now 2 weeks over the time I was supposed to get my boxes, and I'm still missing one box. The rest of my moving moxes were in a very bad state, some were completely broken. Customer service doesn't exist, I was using Eurosender, so at least they seem to be able to comunicate with them. Still stuck at home waiting for my last box as GLS told Eurosender "the box will arrive within a week"... Impossible to know even the day... I have things to do, I can't just wait at home for a week until they feel like bringing me the box... And don't even expect them to call you if they are at your door or anything. They are apparently unable to use a phone in 2025... Unbelievable...
Worst transportation Company & customer service
This transportation company is terrible with service, they have announced that my package would have arrived already, after endless time figuring out what happened they gave me an update saying that I could pick up my package today, so I went to the store and it’s closed. Then I try to call and they just hang up. The customer service is no where to be shown. I can’t even get the lousy truth of whether my package is arriving at my home or in the parcel store.
Plain horrible
Most delivery companies tend to have problems with informing people they are coming. Yet this one is special. They had my phone number, however, they decided to send an e-mail a few minutes before the order was delivered, and as I was not home. Very useful, the e-mail. The rest of my day will be passed trying to change address or trying to reach them, but they only have a robot voice answering and not a very logical one one the phone, but their automatic e-mails just stated "oops, could not deliver". I am afraid most companies that use them do not read much the customer reviews on the receiving end, but this is completely horrible. I hope I will get my parcel from this company that operates with the ease of "we could not care less" attitude.
I got an order that was not for me
I got an order that was not for me. Tried to contact GLS to return it but it was not posible as there was no one I could talk to. Terrible service, terrible customer service. Don´t recomend!
My invisible delivery
My delivery never arrived at my Portugal home, but was marked by Amazon as delivered. Nothing unusal when it come to deliveries here, but super annoying.

It's been 8 days I have been waiting for the collection of parcels. Their driver never comes for the collection and always writes customer is absent.Gls have no control over their pickup drivers. They do not go for pickup and just write absent customer. This company is totally unprofessional. They say it will be picked and that will never be picked up. GLS never replies the email sent through contact form. They have no email contact and sending email them is nonsense as they will never reply.
Courier didn't deliver our parcel
We were not at home when GLS courier arrived. When he called we asked him to deliver parcel another day. Then I receive SMS from him, but I couldn't answer because of driving a car. When I read the message several hours after that he asked about giving my parcel to our neighbor.
Surprisingly parcel was marked as "Delivered" without any information who received it.
Our neighbors didn't receive anything...
Absolute nightmare the service provided…
Absolute nightmare the service provided by this company. Sending me emails of not being at home, given my full address plus a phone number they were incapable to deliver. Adding to this that I paid fast delivery to receive, I will never ever go through this company again, absolute nightmare!

The only thing that works are the automatic emails. But that are never respected. They say they deliver a given day but don't show up. They say we can define delivery, but don't respect it. You write, they don't return back. You call, no one ever picks up the phone. TOO DISASTROUS SERVICE!!
I am in my house
I am in my house , the whole day, with the front door wide open to wait for 2 packages to be picked up. One package for MRW which is a very good company who picked upa parcel for Corte Ingles. We had 2 times GLS before and two times we were reported as absent!! They dont want to go down the stair which all package companies have no problems with!

Worst business in the world! How can company like this exist ??? My parcel is not delivered in Portugal after so many follow ups. Site shows it is delivered at a parcel shop that is closed ! Driver calls us to tell us he is delivering in the afternoon , never to turn up. This is 2 days in a row!!! It must be a great shame for everyone who is working for this companu

The worst delivery company ever! Doesn’t deliver packages, doesn’t pick up the phone EVER, there’s no client support, such a unprofessional and disrespectful company. I’ve already filed an official claim which I haven’t had any response to. A complete disgrace. I will never request their services again.

I don’t even think it’s worthwhile wasting my time nor the reader’s since every possible thing that could go wrong, and that invariably does with GLS in Portugal, has been mentioned in the other reviews, 100% exalting the absolute inefficiency and disastrous service that this company provides or rather doesn’t provide!!
This is the worst and most useless…
This is the worst and most useless delivery company I can think of. 10 out of 10 times they were responsible for a delivery to me the parcel did not arrive. Well, it did twice...after me researching that they were the ones to deliver, how to contact them and then making a fuss. They simply should not be in existence as a delivery company. They simply dont deliver. They dont even leave a card in your mailbox. Or send an email or sms. To at least tell you how to contact them, or where to pick stuff up. Having them involved in a delivery is a black hole.
