The idea is not a bad one but the execution as always is where these market places fall flat on their faces. I orders concrete blocks 6 days ago and have heard nothing from the supplier or Go-Banana. I have had to send an email to ask where my order is because....of course, there is no email address.
With suppliers on every industrial estate in the country, these platforms need to be more efficient that the suppliers on the platform otherwise what is the point?

I will now have to raise a charge back with my bank in order to get my money back.

Complete waste of time and effort.

Bought £500 of timber cladding, most of it was full of holes where knots had fallen out and much of it was broken, snapped, warped and bent. I cut up what I could use to get on with the job but want to warn others that they might want to buy from a real life merchant to check the quality in the yard.

Also, I phoned to find out what time delivery was due but they couldn't tell me – suggested I phone the courier, which I did, and they couldn't tell me either because the supplier hadn't notified them. Not helpful.

I ordered some taps and needed these delivered before the weekend to be fitted by my plumber. Instead of choosing next day at a premium I chose standard by accident. I emailed Go Banana and they came back to me straight away saying they were working hard to contact the supplier to see if they could get it shipped that same day. I had another update within an hour saying the supplier would go back to their warehouse specially to make sure my package would go out that afternoon if I paid the premium delivery. Thanks so much for getting this to me on time!
