Scam SCAM!

Scam SCAM!! We bought some bits off Toolstation who have a shop next door to us. Never signed up for anything. Contacted them on 0800 389 6960 to get it credited straight away and will be doing so with our card issuer as well.

Big companies embed this into their payment screens

This is a predatory company that links with small print to give you saving.
The huge problem is, that they are imbedded in well known companies websites such as moonpig, trainline, dominoes to name a few.

It is disgusting that well founded companies are able to sign you up with shady scam companies without repercussions

Beware,this is a complete SCAM

This is a complete SCAM! £18 was taken from my account without my authority and I immediately called my bank. The Fraud department are aware of this organisation and have cancelled my card and will issue a refund in due course. I only ever use my card online to Amazon and Argos, and have, for the last month used a credit card, so they have held my details for some time.

ABSOLUTE SCAM !

ABSOLUTE SCAM !!
I would give this no company no stars if possible !
As everyone else has said on here £18 has been taken from my account without my authorisation.
I did call them in the first instance and got through to someone, she was polite , but tried to spin me a web of bulls**t about how I had subscribed as I purchase online regularly... erm no I dont...
I have demanded I be refunded and that all my details are deleted from their system.
I will also be contacting my bank just incase they dont.

Some legal action needs to be taken in regards to this company.

Last night I discovered £18 had been removed from my bank account.....

Last night, whilst checking my bank account, I discoved that on the same day, I had £18 taken from my account. I went to my bank to make a formal complaint, and they were able to ring a customer number (an 0800 umber which, l, like many others on this site, had been unable to get through) which sounded like the lady was from the Phillipines, was very polite and helped get the £18 refunded. What I gleaned from my conversation was that somehow I got 'subscribed' even though I had no idea and never presses on anything, to some kind of online 'club which got triggered without mw knowing anything about it, when I ordered an item from MyMemory, back in April 2025. There was a short period when the sewrvice wass 'free'and after that, the sub was taken from my account. This I hastened to repeat- that I had no knowledge of a consumer club deal, and though I have ordered items previous years from My Memoryt, I made sure I unsubscribed from their site. Ao now I wait until the £"18 is back into my babk account, otherwise I will take further action. It is obvious this company works at least one way by 'hiding' inside other online sellers, though I assume MyMemory would be aware of the connection. Sorry for the long message but it might help others who also discover they have been 'automatically' subscribed withoiut knowing about it. The lady who dealt with my complaint was very polite and apologosed and confirmed I would recerive a full refund within days. I will contact My Memory today just to explauin- as they have now lost my custom permanently because of this weird 'consumer club' issue. The lady wanted my membership number but I explained I never had one, obviously.
