Have been using Bondora for a couple of…
Have been using Bondora for a couple of years now. Never had any major problems and with some small issues there service was excellent!
I recommend this one
I recommend this one. It's pretty straight forward. Put funds in and check back once or twice a year. Go and grow is a good choice
Bondora is gr8
Low risk, easy and reliable. No complaints so far.
Better investment than a savings account.
Consistent and reliable
So far it is the best peer-to-peer platform I have used. Super reliable and consistent. You always know how much you'll get and no surprises.
There is a low monthly investment limit which is the part that puts it at disadvantage against its competitors. I also believe it would be nice to see what credit companies your money is being used with, but besides that, I'm happy with it.
Really like Bondora
Had Bondora for a while now and am really pleased with it and would recommend. It's great to see interest added every day. Also great when you sign up and they give you a 5 euro bonus.

Less than average return for a higher than average wait!
My wife and I have invested about 45K euro that has been in for the past 2+years. Fact is that the defaults are high and mean that your return relies on recovery activity over a long time. I'll get about 6-8% overall but I'll wait for 5-7 years to finally realise it. There are plenty of less risky alternatives starting with the general stock market that can exceed these returns and give you instant liquidity. The problem for me is rooted in the rates that Bondora charges at each risk level.....were they higher they could have a competitive product......but less loan borrowers of course. So beware the hype.......this is not a ground breaking alternative to regular investing.

Your idea and service are good.
Your website is friendly and very explicit.

I am going slowly.
Thanks
Very good
Very good I'm really interested 😊 thank you a lot but can you explain more about when I will get the money back
Sketchy promises, no returns, no cashing out
Be aware that the loans offered have a much higher default rate than advertised (I bought around 250 different loans of all grades initially, so its a representative sample). I have the account for several years now and it never performed well. However, the calculation they do to show you a return, looks very positive. That is because they assume, that all the defaulted creditors will start paying back next month. That is of course unrealistic and therefore misleading.
When trying to sell the position, they only accept under certain conditions and for about 1/3 of the price you paid.
So, if you want to loose your money in a quick and exciting way, go to a casino. If you want to loose it in a slow and painful way, go with bondora.
Update after their answer:
You didn't address any of the issues. Yes of course returns vary among investors. But the distribution you show is for sure not representative for customers who hold the loans till the end (which you advice below). I suspect you calculate the "current expected returns" of all or only new portfolios and show that as the distribution, where you make the critical error of assuming full repayment of the outstanding payments of already defaulted loans. This is what I find deceiving because it's not the fair value.
Unfortunately I think the go and grow offer represents the fair value (1/3 of the shown value).

Be adviced that they will sell your data
Ever since I made an account on this web site, I have received so many phone calls (like 10 calls daily) from telemarketers offering financial services.
It is clear that those people sell your data.
The only solution has been to change phone number, the one I owned since I had my first cell phone, it has been a nightmare.
They have so little respect of your privacy, I hope they will fail big time.
Edit after the bondora response:
I will never give you any means to contact me again, my phone number is already changed and I have absolutely no interest in your services. This review is just for alerting other people about your malpractices.

Bondora are reliable
Bondora are reliable, serious. And the results are visible from the beginning. I recommend Bondora.
I am very suprised by this company
I am very suprised by this company. I am invested in many p2p pages, but bondora is by far the most reliable one, and the one with the least losses. At first, I was a little bit scared off, because there is no buyback gurantee, as with other pages. But after many months I can say, there is no need to. Buyback gurantees give you only a wrong feeling of safety. And bondora definitely does not want to do that, because they seem to really care about their customers and try to be as transparent as possible. Even in covid crisis, they are performing as I would like them to do. Big Thump up!
They have come back to their home…
They have come back to their home market. I welcome this decision. The pace of recoveries looks like it has improved as well.
Very good services
Very good services with fast response for any questions that you have. The go and grow product is excelent.
I was an early lender
I was an early lender. All went really well at first but for over 2 years now I have been trying to sell off old bad loans at a 50% discount. Out of around €40,000 originally invested I have had an overall loss of €8,555. Now things have got worse. Despite having provided proper ID when setting up the account, in order to withdraw they are presenting a ridiculous "Know Your Customer" form which keeps failing to save. I say ridiculous because it just asks my occupation and address which they have on the ID. So anyway now I can't withdraw any money. I tried calling the UK phone number but all that does now is give a voice message saying to go online. I sent an email to investor@ but the email is bouncing. No other contact details on their website. No chat. Nothing. Terrible.
Postscript: As a result of the above review, the staff at Bondora reached out to me and resolved the phone number issue which enabled me to draw down the cash I wanted. My suspicion is that there was some sort of cacheing issue with my changed phone number. Not sure if they resolved the fact that I could not email them via Gmail as we communicated via Outlook in the end. I am sorry but although the members of staff were very positive, the losses I have suffered can not be changed. If this is to be an honest review adjustment, I have to leave that bit in. For that reason alone I can only change from 1 star to 2 stars.
More.... in regards to Bondora's reponse, the KYC form was failing, hence my complaint. Now worked. Also I had left my bad debts in Bondora and checked every month. I had decided to sell at a discount because they were not being resolved with the borrowers. Many show the last payment date as 2018. Maybe Bondora handle more recent bad debts better but mine are mainly old ones now with many loans from 2015 with more or less zero ever paid by the borrower.

Awesome experience with Go & Grow
I love how easy it is to invest with Bondora Go & Grow. I have had nothing but an amazing experience so far. I had to withdraw some money during the crisis and haven't had any issues with that as well. The money arrived in a day and since then, my Go & Grow portfolio has only grown.
I hope Bondora will keep doing such a great job making investing so easy.

good experience
I am with Bondora since 2019 and I also withdrawed some money during this period and nothing wrong really happened as sometimes I read in these comments. Not sure if I have been lucky or not, but my experience with Bondora has been great so far.
You don't earn money with bondora
You don't earn money with bondora. As soon as you stop investing it goes downhill.
Spanish and Finnish were always crap but even just with estonian loans and maximum of diversification with 600 small loans you might be lucky to get 0 % out of it.
Bondora sees a 5 year old credit, which never paid since 2 and a half years still as 50 % current. That gives you an idea how well constructed bondora is. And if you invest regulary, like bondora recommends you will never see the downwards trend because your new loans will counterbalance the many red and orange ones.
Also the amount of loans with "criminal case" in my porfolio is mindblowing.
G&G works better as long as new investors keep the snowball system intact as the same trash loans are in the G&G Portfolio.
Ohh and don't get me started with the referal system. Bondora will find an excuse (like that using your bank account for tranfering money to your mothers account to fasten the process) do not pay your bonus if you are a weakling like me and actually recommended bondora to some family members - before you knew how bondora actually works. Recommendation to an independent user should be the goal and focus of bondora right? If you are afraid, that your referal system will be abused then just don't offer it.
Some statistics which may be of interest for you:
An interesting graph from Bondora's statistics page that has been underutilized by investors shows cumulative cash on cash return over time (€100 given out and how much principal + interest has been received back).
Each line represents cashflow for a different month where at least 200 loans with 36-month duration were issued.
As of today, not a single month has reached 100%. In other words, investors have been losing money with 36-month loans so far.
Best result is July 2016, which has reached 97.88% at month 50. Investors who put in €100, have gotten back €97.88 after more than 4 years and probably paid tax on interest as well.
Same graph for 60-month loans looks a little bit better. There are two months that have reached above 100%. Nov and Dec of 2014. Nothing to be excited about though.
Everything else is below 100%. Many even considerably. April 2015 for example has reached 76% at month 65.
Unfortunately no direct link is possible to show you the graphs taken from bondora itself, according to trustpilots guidelines, which limits somewhat the weight of trustpilots reviews.
