So Felix Prehn turned to running his own business, but even still he was a glorified employee who had to show up in order to get paid. He turned to trading when he was hospitalised because of a back injury that came from chronic stress and overwork, but the worst part was that it would’ve cost $50,000 to operate on… Money he didn’t have at the time. At that point, his income was completely cut off because he couldn’t punch in the hours to get paid, yet his bills continued to climb.
Having no choice, Felix used his network and experience as an investment banker to learn how to trade from his hospital bed so he could at least make a side income to pay his bills. Before he knew it, within 10 months he had completely replaced his business income (and his previous corporate salary) with the income that came from his trades. So instead of having to wake up early, clock in, and get paid based on the amount of hours he worked… Felix was finally able to wake up feeling like every day was a weekend, have full control of his schedule, and make a comfortable income working a fraction of the hours he did as a lawyer and banker.
In 2020, Felix and his adopted Golden Retriever, Winston, started a YouTube channel called Felix and Friends to educate people struggling because of job loss, hour cuts, and income losses because of the pandemic to create an extra stream of income through trading for a few hours a week
Since then, he’s grown the channel to over 100,000 subscribers and has taught over 9000 students inside of GOAT Academy with his team of ex investment bankers how they can create more freedom, provide better for their families, and live life on their terms by replacing their 40-60 hour work weeks as corporate employees for becoming their own boss and “working” part time hours.
Today, Felix aims to provide real financial education that schools and universities have never provided to over 1 million people so they can stop getting taken advantage of by the corporate and banking systems, and instead, take back control of their time and finances to become better sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, friends, and community leaders.

Felix, the director of the goat academy, has developed the best all-around course for achieving financial success. First and most important, his motivation originates from a sincere desire to help people succeed. Read his story to understand. I personally have achieved much. He gives a great deal of his advice for free. The course is constantly growing and increasing in its scope. The mentors give daily classes that, along with the course material, justify the cost. Thank you, Felix. It is rare for someone in your position to put themselves out to help others survive in our financial jungle.

Fantastic experience I started working with the team back in August, from day one I felt more confident around trading my portfolio. I only 5 months in and have seen a significant amount of growth in my portfolio and working with mark and Troy has been a huge help in doing so. Thanks felix!

really not that helpful and very expensive for what it is
I've been in the market since my university years in the mid 1980's. I have to say after trying and using various subscriptions for ideas Felix really knows his stuff as an ex-investment banker. I'm a Certified Public Accountant (USA) & Chartered Accountant (UK). I can read financials inside out, but investing is way more than that. It is geopolitical, innovation, internal management direction and other scenarios rolled into one and Felix Prehn exposes this in a somewhat easy to follow analysis.
Goat Academy practices risk management. I cannot stand mentors perpetuating the asinine buy & holding your stocks no matter what philosophy (maybe, maybe in a new disruptor business like quantum computers as I had QBTS & RGTI 3 years as sat on my shares that cost me $0.65 or NFLX as I had since 2006). Disney after covid or AT&T cut dividend get out these stocks. In fact they are still not back at their price at covids end for DIS $230 or T pre dividend cut $33.

I started off watching Felix and Friends goat academy videos over the course of a couple months and decided to give the program a try. I have been working with the mentors in the Goat Academy program for over a month now and have noticed great progress with refining my trading ideas and building consistency in the markets.
If you are looking for amazing mentors who can provide valuable insight and help with navigating any market environment, I would give Goat Academy a try. Be sure to discuss your investment/trading goals with their representative so that they can best tailor your time in the program to your individual needs. Also shout out to Oliver who helped me get set up and connected with the program!

Felix's Goat Academy Program is a true game-changer for anyone ready to take charge of their financial future. The team of coaches is genuinely committed to your success—they're always supportive, responsive, and ready to guide you through any question, no matter how big or small. Felix, the heart and soul of the Academy, brings a brilliant mix of humor and motivation while remaining deeply dedicated to helping every member succeed.
The course itself is thoughtfully structured, with clear lessons, practical quizzes, and an accountability system that ensures you keep making progress. What truly stands out is how the team consistently checks in and offers encouragement. You feel seen, heard, and championed every step of the way.
Felix’s approach isn’t just about tips or shortcuts—he’s the king of teaching you how to “fish” in the financial world, so you develop long-lasting, practical skills. Learning how to buy and sell confidently, without getting lost in hope or uncertainty, has been invaluable. I’ll never forget his phrase: “Hope is not a plan.”
I’m now an Alumni, applying everything I learned with gratitude for this supportive community. Felix and his amazing team—including Winston and the team of Kitties. Go Winston!!—truly care about every person who joins. If you’re considering signing up, don’t hesitate. This is an investment in yourself that you’ll be thankful for.
Wishing Felix and the entire Goat Academy team all the best!

What makes my experience here great is the support I am receiving from the customer service manager, from Jesus, from instructors such as Byung Kim, Carlos and Matt that make you feel that what ever level you are at is okay and we build from there. I always look so forward to Elliot as well and the humour he interjects helps tremendously. I wish I had Felix doing videos here on Sundays or whatever days as I saw him on You tube and find his explanations most insightful. To this day (as well as taking the program) I still sign up and do his weekly intros for people because I always find a gem of information. I have no background in this area whatsoever but wanted to feel that I could learn and manage my own portfolio instead of shelling out thousands every quarter and just feeling like a number to the institution. Here despite the amount of students, you feel valued no matter what level you are at. Not feeling so helpless any longer but moreso hopeful. Maybe Tom Hanks can make a movie out of that!

I discovered Felix Prehn via his YouTube channel. My initial reaction was 'Quirky chap, VERY dry sense of humour, has an enormous number of cats/kittens and golden retriever, Winston'.
Given my shared ownership of cats, that was enough to follow the channel and take time to assess what he had to say. He was one of many stock market commentators that I was following, so I had points of comparison. There are a lot of financial courses on offer from YouTubers, so Felix's Goat Academy was one of a mix in my sights.
To be honest, my starting point was that I could likely get what I needed from watching various videos - and I didn't think it worth the outlay to pay for anything at all from my hard-earned cash.
And then Liberation Day happened.
In 3 days, over 17% of my portfolio was wiped out - before I decided to cut my losses and sell all of my positions. I had no idea what else to do than stop the haemorrhaging of money.
Annoyingly, then everything I had owned bounced right back up and I'd have been considerably better off, if I had retained my original investments.
Conclusion: I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, other than guesses. I was undertaking what I thought was 'research', before committing to investments - when I look back, these attempts were laughable, but seemed logical at the time.
Following this painful experience, I did pay closer attention to Felix's YouTube observations, as a direct result of which I managed to recoup my losses over a couple of weeks. I'd originally resisted signing up to Goat Academy, but this was the point at which I acknowledged I needed help.
My reasons for choosing Goat Academy over another option was primarily that Felix talked about stocks, market behaviours, short and long term observations - but essentially refused to adopt the line of, "Buy/don't buy this stock, it will make you rich/it's a disaster". He was very much of the view people should learn the patterns, rules and behaviours of markets, to understand not only what but when to buy/sell, how to screen for suitable investments - and how to negotiate what can be a massive rollercoaster.
It was a "Let me teach you how to fish" approach, "so that you don't have to be dependent on me" view.
I also had a look at 'Tradevision' (yes, it is his trading tool - and yes, it does have an edge on other equivalents, though I do use several).
Before any naysayers have a go at my mentioning 'Felix doesn't tell you what to buy/sell on his YouTube channel' - yes, he does talk about companies and sectors. He also makes clear, for those paying attention, that whatever companies or funds that are mentioned, these can change their market position very, very, very rapidly (sometimes within hours). Therefore, what might be considered a 'buy' on one day could be the complete opposite the next. On that point, my view is never to buy/sell something because of what someone has mentioned on YouTube; if that's your approach, brace yourself to lose a lot of money.
Eventually, with reservations, I did commit to joining Goat Academy.
The range of educational material is extensive, accessible and in plain English. Felix presents much of it, but there are a number of coaches available - for which you can request one-to-one tuition. Group sessions are available, either to join live or watch on catch-up, according to your schedule. There is also a chatty community of students and weekly content to digest and discuss.
Be under no illusion: this is NOT a get-rich-quick scheme and you do have to put in hours of study (set aside a good 6 hours weekly - I did more - but it really is a case that you will get out of it what you put in).
And I am still learning, over 4 months into being a Goat Academy student, so this process will take time. I have made and continue to make mistakes along the way, so have happily signed up for another 4 months.
Was Goat Academy worth the money?
I can only account for my own experience: in my first 4 months I nearly doubled my portfolio value. In a typical week, I increase the value by between 2-4% - sometimes the returns are much better and bad weeks still happen. Much of the learning process focusses on understanding the psychology of the markets and your own behaviours, so as to stop making bad decisions. A fundamental principle is to protect your capital and to know when to let an exhausted investment go.
As I write, this week on the markets has been torrid - and was my reason for renewing my membership, because I personally still need the support through these difficult times.
To summarise, although initially doubtful, Goat Academy proved absolutely worthwhile. I made back the course fee within 3 wks & went on to profit substantially. I'm now passing on this knowledge to my children.
Early retirement beckons, and a new house I never thought I could afford. More is now possible.

Adding to GOAT's great catalog of tutorial resources, the access to live webinars and 1:1 coaching is superb. As a relatively successful investor, I was seeking more sophisticated strategies for options. Jesus is a very good coach, taking his time to ensure you understand every step of the various processes and the context around the tactics. He is teaching me options strategies and executional tactics that I was unfamiliar with, creating new opportunities for earnings, while mitigating risk. My ROI on the course is already 10x after one month.

Jesus is good instructor and gave solid feedback about the spread of my portfolio. The discussion with him, despite that I couldn’t actually show the portfolio, was valuable and spot on.

BEWARE, they make it nearly impossible to get your money back as promised on the call. I am having way more success in a group that was 1/3rd the cost. I only wanted a partial refund to cover the new program and this was the final response after numerous emails.
If you’re able to provide evidence that you implemented the risk management steps as discussed on your call and within the program(for example, trading records, broker statements, or documented use of stop-loss/trade sizing rules), we will be happy to process a full refund in line with the guarantee.
I joined the Goat Academy, after watching Felix and Friends Youtube videos for a couple months, in June of 2025 and have since grown in both my personal and financial life. I have had peace of mind of steady growth in my portfolio, I have also gained the confidence to pick my own stocks which has allowed me to trade without FOMO, and in doing so I am buying smart. As Felix says, it’s easier to call momentum than it is a bottom. I did well enough before this course buying low, selling high or trying to, that if I just kept up with my returns, this academy would pay for itself. Since joining I have doubled my usual returns.
I treated this course like I was going to trading college. They have 4-8 classes a day on all different levels of instruction. Some are basic for beginners, some focused on longer term less active investment accounts and others focused on trading. Some of the classes get into market conditions and most reading charts. And even a % of the classes are rather specialized. If you're learning to trade I highly recommend 1on1 coaching, if you know how to trade i highly recommend 1on1 coaching. The difference here is accelerated learning 1on1 and/or checking your trade logic with an expert. Any given coach will know multiple ways (strategies) to trade and/or invest as well as have experience in doing so.
Just as Felix portrays it is about preservation of capital first, because it's harder to grow wealth no matter how much you make if you can't hold onto it. Coaches are going to make sure you understand stop losses and position sizing before you do anything else. There will be classes every week to reinforce this, Matt will have some great classes to get you started. Carlos might be the only coach that teaches more classes than Matt and you can learn a lot from both of them. I think one of the most tenured coaches here is Jesus who hosts various classes from setting up screeners to reading charts and often has impromptu chart reading and other sessions. Any of them can teach you the basics all the way to being an expert.
Beyond the things I participated in, there were classes on income strategies and fixed investments. I think if someone requested something and there was enough interest the academy found a coach to accommodate. One of the things I pursued was writing a trading algo, and within 3 weeks of joining the program we had a coach for that. All the instructors have years of experience and some decades. Not everyone trades the same way, but however they trade they are all so kind when they go over it with you. I asked a lot of questions and definitely a few I repeated and they were always so kind and knowledgeable. Most of the coaches just do coaching or teach 1 or 2 classes a week. I highly recommend any of them. Elliot and Brendan have great weekly market/economic recaps (Worth staying up late or getting up early, I think they have some tenure with the program too). And if you're trying to get help reading Felix’s notes Brett Medina has been doing a class every week.
1) how to position your trades (sizing)
2) when to sell (or how to manage your stop loss/gain)
3) what to look for as an investor or trader (through screeners and chart analysis)
There's also a list that shows you what Felix is considering/buying every week...but by the time you graduate you'll be making your own lists that I would like to tweak a bit more. It is a 3 step process, in the order outlined above. You are going to make your own rules, learn to follow them, and then get re-enforcement on how to pick stocks, when to buy, and when to sell them. Simply put if you follow your rules you will get what you expect and sometimes more.
Today is the last day of my program and I am grateful for the friends and mentors I have met along the way. Felix once said he was just an average guy (not Winston, he's not an average dog), and learned everything from his mentors, retired investment bankers, I feel I got the same tutorage. Thank you all for being so helpful and full of knowledge. Besides the ones I worked with I could credit anyone that ever made a video (i watched most of them), and am sorry I didnt have a chance to meet every coach.

As someone who had only about a year of casual experience dabbling in stocks and Forex, I’ll admit—I was both intimidated and skeptical when I first joined. The course felt like a big financial commitment for me (about 23% of my starting portfolio, which was small to begin with), so you can understand my hesitation.
I started out in Circle B, the lowest tier, which doesn’t include one-on-one coaching. It also isn’t structured like a classroom environment, so at first I was disappointed and a bit lost. Once I got past those initial feelings and dug in, I realized I was learning, just slowly and without much confidence since I had no background in this.
After a couple of months, I decided to invest more and upgrade to Circle A for one-on-one coaching. That decision was a game-changer. Having a coach to confirm what I was doing right and correct what I was doing wrong made the puzzle pieces fall into place quickly. My confidence grew tremendously.
I’ve now been in the academy for about three months, and my portfolio is up 14.3%. Some students may report bigger returns, but given all the beginner mistakes I made early on, I’m proud of that result. One of my coaches even told me that the fact I’m profitable so early speaks volumes.
The customer service has also been outstanding. Shortly after enrolling, I had a heart attack, and the academy kindly extended my course time to cover my downtime—something I honestly didn’t expect. They treated me with genuine care instead of brushing me off.
At this point, I feel like I have a solid grasp of the basics of stock trading, and now I’m shifting my focus toward learning options. By the time I finish, I believe I’ll be set on a path toward a comfortable retirement.
So here’s my advice to anyone reading this: Don’t let a small portfolio hold you back, and don’t let the price tag scare you off. The knowledge, tools, and coaching you gain here are well worth it, and they can help you build the future you want.
Thank you, Felix, and the academy, for giving me the knowledge and confidence I needed.

I was a complete stranger to the world of economics and finance. I joined the Goat Academy because I wanted to be educated in that topic and make something more with my money than just have it in my bank or spend it on something useless. I also wanted to make the future of my family more secure. I first joined the Wall Street protocol where I learned about financial markets and stocks. I really made an effort and invested a lot of my time acquiring new knowledge. The more I learned the more I understood how the markets work and how to make profit of that knowledge. All the mentors - coaches and my client manager Biljana really made a great effort. When you attend their sessions you truly get the impression that it is their true purpose to give you all the knowledge you need to have and even more knowledge if you are willing to learn. I am now entering the options program because I believe it is very complementary to trading stocks. I am looking forward to learning even more and securing financial freedom for me and my family. Many many thanks to the whole Goat Academy community

I've been on quite a journey from knowing very little about trading when I joined the GOAT academy, to now feeling a lot more in control. I undertook my initial course with 121 sessions with the coaches, studying very hard and trying to listen to as many coach training calls as I could. I found the coaches excellent and very supportive. After graduating from the course, I was then on my own for a couple of months, but was lacking confidence in the choppy markets to place trades. I realised that I needed to invest in my education, continue learning and have the support of the GOAT coaches, the community and Felix's weekly stock pick list. So after much personal deliberation, I have re-joined for 12 months and I am pleased to say its turned out to be a very good decision. I have now had several successful trades, and plenty of others invested still. My successful trades are paying for my re-enrolment. I am continuing to learn, still working on my skills, listening to as many coach calls as I can, and getting better all of the time, and most importantly still very much enjoying the journey.

Numbers speak for themselves.
"Your account had a cumulative rate of return of 46.04% from Jun 24, 2025 to Sep 23, 2025."
The best investment I've made so far is in these guys. You wont be told what or when to buy, you'll learn when to get in or out of any stock and why! Its up to you to put in the work and find stocks & create your own portfolio. It's not a handout. I believe that's why there's some mixed reviews online. And yes, i had a string of investments that didn't work out. However, losses were small thanks to risk management which I've learned about and because of that i was able to re-invest the money into other stocks.
I wish i had found out about this sooner.

My 6 week experience with Goat Academy has been great so far in my learning journey. I've had a major learning curve to conquer and still do but the coaches and support staff have all been professional, prompt on responses to questions and concerns and courteous. Im really glad I joined and I see progress in my journey.

Felix and his team had me excited about money, and at 74 years that takes some doing. Clear and interesting insights in the murky world of trading which had I not happened on one of Felix's videos would not think of getting involved with. Would love to understand and make some profit with help from the Goat Academy and Winston. Cheers Felix.
