Shame about the bird mess literally everywhere. It walks into the van if your not very careful. A fence could reduce it a lot. The TV reception was OK during the day but very bad at night. There was a non existent profile of the management/owners. Fishing very poor due to the weather nobody's fault. Shower block excellent. Shop not so. Office shut all weekend, ??

Weekend Session was great!
The lakes are very well kept. Unfortunately none of the four guys fishing the lake i was on caught a thing during my day ticket. That's fishing for you. Definitely will be going again.

Lovely venue but have not caught here
Don't get me wrong this is a beautiful venue. But the fishing isn't good . The day tariff needs to be dusk till dawn to give anglers a chance to catch between their feeding hours . Currently if you buy just a day ticket you have to stop fishing at 7pm, they don't seem to start feeding until around 8pm. Also the staff commandeer the best swims and leave there bivvys there all day when they are not fishing. Also I learned they had problems with otters eating the fish. Shame this could easily be a 5 star venue . Never been so disappointed in a fishing holiday.
Really enjoyed my time once again. Only had rod in 5 mins before it screamed off total of 5 carp caught within a few hours

Very nice kept and clean place with very friendly staff that are helpful and they encourage kids to get in to fishing
As Catch completely messed our booking up by not informing Cobbleacre of disabled swim required we did not experience the fishing. Hence why you shouldn’t sent out automated emails. Not impressed with Catch whatsoever which was why we had a complete refund. Nothing wrong with Cobbleacre at all.
Went home after an hour, swims very boggy,(needs work) peoples end tackle left everywhere, lots of loose line laying around. Kids an dogs running around the lakes

Very poor fishing on marios. Lots of small carp for a main specimen lake. Other anglers being very loud late at night drinking and no consideration for other
Enjoyable days fishing
Fished marios lake for 3 days and blanked didn't see a fish come out from any other lads fishing during those days. So decided to fish Adams lake on the 4th day that was no better with only 1 fish at 6lb so very disappointed considering its a fishery . I know speciman lakes can be hard but I would have liked to see someone catch a decent sized fish especially when it's advertised as being only moderately difficult .
Fantastic weekend . Great fishing for me and my daughter who is new to it. Great stock off fish in the lake. Facilities where spotless and had some great swims to choose from.
