Quiet lakes, very clean, shop has everything you need. There is a toilet block, but would like to see a couple of porto loos around the main lakes.

Recently done a 24hr fishing session, upon arrival we couldn't get the disabled swim so followed instructions from the office and found a decent/resonable sized peg, to then be later questioned about why we was on a single swim by the bailiff, the bailiff told me that the carp wasn't biting because the oxygen levels was too low and the only thing coming out was Catfish, so automatically felt hard done by, Wish was told before arrival as would of probably cancelled, Clearly says no illegal substances yet 1 person was sat smoking away and nothing seemed to be done about it.

Been coming here, on and off, for over 15 years. Love the place!! However, our trip was ruined this year with the lack of fish care. After 2 weeks of hot weather leading up to our trip, we were glad the temperature was lower on our week there. But the oxygen levels weren't taken untill the Thursday, when it was just 40%. The airiators were put on for 14 hours, then switched off. (Apparently the cost of electricity is too high!) No more testing was done. Would go back, but never in the late spring or summer. Such a shame

A very peaceful daays fishing , very quiet and the staff were very helpful. I did'nt catch any fish throughout the morning. highly recommended

Over booked when we turned up at 0650 to dip nets first people just drove past with out dipping nets like supposed to also when we got to the Alex's lake at just gone 7 their was only 1 swim available not enough for the 2 people booked as single person on double swim next to his friends would not go back their again as it seems that this place over book their lake. We went elsewhere instead that was far better.
