Me and my lad always love to come hurlston hall we have been there a lot even more now with the new owners very friendly people food is absolutely delicious breakfast and tea can’t complain also have house pellets what are good aswell last time out we was in the cabin very homely with are Christmas tree and heaters to keep us cozy the kids love it an will always be back thanks Nat and stu

The fishing was really good, had a 22lb and 25lb the place has real potential to be a great fishery But unfortunately for us we were staying in the cabin and when we arrived the place was un clea. Bedding stinking as it was left on from the person before. Dirty sponges and clothes left about. Half eaten choclate bar on the side and 2 coffee cups half full. The owner was away and tried to be as helpful as he could but unfortunately when your paying money the least you expect is clean bedding and tidy cabin.

A work in progress but Matt and his team have worked wonders since he took over a well run fishery with quality specimen carp to be had and some really good Pike. Don't take my word for it try it for yourself.

First visit at Hurlston hall fishery. Matt was very welcoming. Pegs are really good. Only here for the day apparently it’s fishing hard so blanked. But the fish were showing. Will back soon.

Just done the weekend with my daughter here. We both really enjoyed it. Good setup and excellent clean facilities (toilets etc) Will be back again in the near future. Well done to fishery manager matt 👍

Needs a lot of work to make it fishing friendly. You go fishing for peace and quiet..... not chainsaws chippers and mini diggers. I wouldn't recommend or go back im afraid. Disappointed is an understatement

2 fish came out over 96 hours, lake over booked, and very commercial. Catches tended to come from locals/regulars who actively put that many kilos of pellet into the lake that made me think what is the point trying to fish it. Although I think owner is doing a great job on site of doing all the basics right, ie) minimal litter, noise pollution to name a couple.... ultimately the place was let down on the fishing alone, which is very unusual. Would I go back, for the price probably not as I have wyreside and cudmore on my doorstep for an extra 15 minute drive

No fish being caught at all 30 rods out over the 3 days I was there and only 4 fish out don’t know what was happening but a lot of people were saying they would never come back I would give it a couple more chances before I made that decision
