Nice fisheries but booked double peg at hunts corner and to me a 2.4m peg is not a double as advertised so far to small for 2 people using 4 rods

I have fished Linear several times but the amount of weed present in Manor Farm during my recent session was terrible making fishing very difficult plus actually landing the fish (Tench) difficult too.

Wish some of the over hanging trees on our peg where trimed back as there where parts of the lake we couldn't excess due to them . And more gravel on the pegs. Have fished in past on raining days and can be very slippery. Otherwise lovely plesent visit.

Great venue, great and helpful staff in the shop. was just a bit disappointed how weedy manor farm lake was ,very difficult to fish . As it was our 1st time there , would have been nice to be able to get information regarding the lake prior to the visit

2 days, 2 nights, 3 fish in total (tench) for the 3 of us. I almost never blank, 2 times I have been to Linear (2 days, 2 nights both) both blank, not even a bite. If there was a way, I'd claim a refund. If you have plenty of time (and money) to sit and try everything without a bite, just go there.

Been many times to Linear, first time on Manor though , we caught so pleased. Person next door in peg 7 was a joke, noisy, clattering about and spent daylight hours of session talking loudly on his phone to various people behind the swim (close to us). Classic modern day instant carper. This is not really linears fault but these lakes are a bit of a circus at times. The crazy uneven bumpy chalk stone path to swim was tough on the barrow and my body but assume it will be improved. Swim was tidy and a nice spot in peg 6. Comedy all white airbeam tent spotted in swim on way back to car, looked like novices trying carping, not what I would expect on a premium water where fish expertise and fish know how should be prevalent but I guess linear is a business and welcomes all coin. We will be back sometime I’m sure but I sense too many idiots with money to burn may end up spoiling the experience for true lifelong anglers seeking fantastic specimens but who also seek tranquility.

I think it is great to be able to book on these lakes. It makes it like the linear fishery that we used to fish many years ago. The only down side I think is you having to pay a premium just because there bookable. But all in all still a great fishery
