Offered us a fixed rate of 82 pounds per month, and after we cancel 10 months in, having used nearly no power for the last 2 months, told us we had to infact pay the difference left... I did not sign up for a fixed rate, if I had to worry about how much electricity I was using! Had I known, had it been written down, I would not have used the heater so much during the winter. I think it is crooked and misleading and will not pay my bills, I would rather take them to court.

Very difficult to speak to anybody who can actually help and eventually had to deal with a third party who manage their utility provision for them.
It was also very difficult to deal with the other company and the online operator for Effortless was a bit rude and assumptive.
Based on my experience I would say poor customer service and questionable motives despite what is advertised.
