Had fantastic experience with my class group designing, creating and flying our kites over the last two class periods all thanks to George & Gleann from Go Fly Your Kite. From the booking experience, organising the class three weeks out, the class itself and post class response has brilliant. George was just an email, zoom or phone call away to guide me through the set up. The class picked up loads of experience and had loads of fun from the start to finish and the thrill they all got from flying their kites in the end was priceless. Only one area of concern was on my own end with technology for the Zoom workshop. Try have one Mic and one camera in the room only.

I have to say that the Go Fly Your Kite workshop was an excellent interactive and enjoyable workshop for both the children and the teacher. The kites were very user friendly and so much fun was had. I would highly recommend this STEM workshop to all schools. Glenn was brilliant to explain everything, the packs arrived well in advance. It was an excellent workshop and very well ran. The class were so excited to head home with their kites on the day and are constantly telling me how much fun they are having at home flying them each day.

We as a staff were blown away by the professionalism of your staff, the attention to detail in emails and zoom calls, the quality of kits sent to the school, the follow up contact to ensure kits had arrived, the zoom calls prior to the workshop to ensure smooth running of science class and finally the amazing workshop itself. The children had such a fun, engaging class via zoom and we cannot wait for next year's science festival as this was the best year yet!! We were unsure how this years festival would work in comparison to previous "in person" festivals with the constraints of level 5 but it was as good and even better than other years. What an achievement!!! Thank you!!

Excellent experience with “fly your kite”. Everything was so organised and thoroughly planned to allow for a seamless science lesson. The resources supplied; accompanying videos and the live workshop for the kids were excellent. The kids really enjoyed taking part. Thank you.

My class participated in a zoom workshop about kite making. I recieved my pack in advance and had a pre lesson zoom to inform me about the workshop. the only thing I had to provide was permanent markers. Everything was simply explained and I felt prepared for the day. The zoom call to the class was an information session on the science bits. I was impressed by the way the host managed to get interaction within the classroom. I was also provided with an instructional video which I played (and re-played) during the kite assembly. My class produced lovely kites after the zoom call ended.

The process took a lot longer than I thought (around 3hrs in total).
The cost of permanent markers was a lot more than I expected.

Apart from that it was easy, fun and informative. we all enjoyed the activity. I would recommend it from 3rd-6th Class

Very well organised. Well delivered remotely. Teachers well prepared and informed and equiped to assist in advance. Pitched at correct age level. Engaging, hands on construction activity with a long lasting tangible product for individual use afterward. Highly recommended.

Very good workshop. Materials delivered in excellent time and surplus kites was great idea due to errors made by pupils. Child friendly language and clear instructions.

The children loved it! The Zoom worked really well. The video provided prior to the workshop provided all the information required to design and create the kites. We had plenty time to look at the resources and video prior to the Zoom.

Great service, arrived promptly. My daughter loved designing her own kite. Once assembled it's really easy to fly too. My daughter is 4 and it was the perfect present. I've since bought more kits for newphews!

We had a really great workshop with 'Go Fly Your Kite'. I found them very helpful throughout the process and really easy to deal with. My class thoroughly enjoyed it and especially enjoyed the kite making activity. It was done online through zoom out of necessity with current restrictions but it was done so well. Thank you very much.
