Had issues first with PayPal when it came to depositing of funds from donors, but we got good assistance from Victoria she made sure everything was fine and answered every question and even still do follow up with the campaign. I would recommend go get funding anytime. Thanks

It was said that the first donation made to the campaign was flagged because it had a high number. Yes, that's the only reason. On top of that, they asked for my personal information and got what they wanted. Despite the long wait and ignoring the information they obtained, they stole the donation. They both obtained personal information and stole money from a donor. It was clear from the beginning that the site was suspicious. Be advised. Reviews are bought too.

Edit: Replying to reply: Explain me then what a fraud donation has anthying to do with my personal information and the cancellation of campaign. You even said that u refunded the funds to them

Everything on GoGetFunding was as described on their website in my experience raising funds with them. I was crowdfunding for my wife's university expenses. I was especially impressed with Victoria, the woman from GoGetFunding who helped me with my questions, and guided me with more effective post details. They are lucky to have her. I shared the link on FB and asked some special people to share it with anyone they thought would help. GoGetFunding kept only the small percentage described on their website (which was reasonable) and the rest went into my account a week later - I did not reach my goal, but the money that was donated was still transferred to me. It was as easy as it could be expected and completely different from my first experience with another crowdfunding company that also has a name that starts with the word "Go" - they were horrible! I strongly recommend GoGetFunding, and I hope you get help from Victoria or someone like her! Good luck with your crowdfunding campaign!

Great fundraising platform, available in multiple countries. I was also very happy with all the features they offer, such as offline fund raised, the possibility to add multiple languages and the option to edit the campaign.

My partner and I raised over 20k for urgent medical expenses. Funds were available via PayPal and Stripe as we went along. What was particularly useful was the ability to set multiple payment options, multi language and have a deadline. Some other sites don’t have a deadline option and for us this was really important as this was urgent. Thank you for your help team GGF

Excellent platform for raise funds. Customer support was helpful and the fees are more than reasonable. We got downloads of all our donor details (without them being charged any fees). We also used the customisation features which was helpful.

We created a campaign for a bereaved friend whose husband had suddenly died in tragic circumstances and left the young family with unaffordable medical bills.
We were based in the U.K. but our friends live in the Phillipines so we used the site as it offered donations in PHP Peso.
After 4 days of campaigning we had a lot of success from around 70 generous donors, close to £7000 (as our friend could see pending funds in the paypal account) . We were concerned that the website had not been updating with comments and donations, but were told that Paypal had changed the process, and we had to wait for an unspecified time for the clearing process to go through before they could update the website and it was not in their hands.
There apparently was a way to push a donation with PayPal to try and speed things up, but clearly no one was aware of this as no donors did it.
On the 4th day I received messages from friends who had donated that funds were being returned to them. I checked and the site had refunded all the donations raised, on the basis that some unspecified people had told them it was a fraudulent campaign.
They couldn’t tell us who or the context due to “data protection act”. I don’t know, but suspect some people might have got suspicious when the website was not updating.
The company made no attempt to corroborate the allegation with us. We weren’t consulted or prepared for this. We would have been able to provide plenty of clear evidence that we working on behalf of the family. As such we now have lost all the donations for our friend and have to somehow start again with a more reputable provider. I hope for our friends sake that the kind community of doners are willing to give again. Based on our dreadful and very stressful experience, plus the relatively high fees deducted from donations, I strongly recommend using a different company.

Had a fundraising campaign with these guys last June and was advised to withdraw my funds after a month which I obliged last July 22nd of this year. Was told that they are unable to process and send my funds and have been waiting for their reply ever since.

They charge you a lot of fees and only reply once in a blue moon. What a bunch of crap.

Account creation was easy.

It takes a short time to make your project live.

the website it’s self is really good. And the idea is perfect. But today from the night I’m having difficulties with opening the web-page. With HTTP ERROR 500.
Does anyone know the reason ?
