We’ve been with GoggleSqud for 3 years…
We’ve been with GoggleSqud for 3 years now and cannot rate them highly enough. My son (7) and daughter (4) both have lessons and have had a range of instructors over the years, and they’ve all been fantastic. Lessons prices are higher than alternatives, but it’s well worth it!

Learning as an Adult
I am 77 years old and have been learning to swim with Taya on a Friday morning at Embercourt she’s been amazing and very patient I am almost there!

We moved to GoggleSquad in January of this year, and have loved the experience in terms of swimming lessons, overall organisation, admin support.
My son's teacher was Alex who was brilliant with him: friendly and supportive, but in the same time requiring good listening and practicing skills, pushing him to above his limits sometimes. My son loved Alex. We both think he is a great teacher. My son has been moved to another stage now and will have a different teacher. He will miss Alex but we are certain he will get another excellent teacher.

Low efficiency and slow progress
Despite attending lessons consistently for almost 12 months, my child has shown minimal, if any, progression in swimming skills. We have not seen clear improvement in technique, confidence, or advancement toward the next stage. I understand that every child learns at their own pace, but the lack of measurable progress over such a long period is worrying. I would appreciate a clearer understanding of the specific goals for Stage 3 and an honest assessment of where my child stands against those milestones.

We’d first like to reassure you that your child’s progress is available to view at any time through our learner portal and we have explained this to you on a number of occasions. The portal records every Stage 3 skill, showing what has been achieved and what is still being developed.
Having reviewed your child’s progress record, your child has successfully achieved the vast majority of the Stage 3 outcomes, including front and back glides, rotations, travelling 10 metres on both the front and back, retrieving an object from the pool floor, tuck floating, water safety knowledge and safe entries and exits from the pool. This represents significant progress.
At GoggleSquad, we don’t believe in rushing children through the stages simply to achieve quick badge progression. We are a highly technical swim school and believe that fundamental skills should be performed consistently and confidently before a swimmer moves on. While every child progresses at their own pace, our priority is to develop safe, confident and technically strong swimmers with the best possible foundations for long-term success.
We also encourage parents to watch lessons from the poolside whenever possible. Unlike many swim schools, our lessons are fully visible, allowing parents to see exactly what their child is working on each week, how their technique is developing and the feedback being given by their teacher. We believe this transparency is an important part of the learning process.
Our Swim Manager, Taya, is also on poolside each week and is always happy to discuss a swimmer’s progress. She has spoken with you previously about your child’s development and remains available should you wish to talk through your child’s progress, the Stage 3 criteria or the next steps in their swimming journey. We are always happy to explain how a swimmer is progressing and what they need to demonstrate before moving to the next stage.
We genuinely want every swimmer to succeed and would welcome the opportunity to continue that conversation with you.

We are so grateful for the wonderful swimming lessons and the amazing instructors. Our daughter was quite nervous at first and needed time to observe before joining in, but thanks to their patience, kindness, and gentle encouragement, she gradually built the confidence to trust them, relax, and enjoy every lesson.
A special thank you to Miles, who has such a fantastic way with children. He is playful, funny, and always makes the lessons fun while helping the children feel comfortable and confident. We'd also like to thank Adrian, who has been equally patient, caring, and encouraging throughout her journey.
It has been so lovely to watch our daughter grow in confidence. She now looks forward to every swimming lesson with a smile, and we couldn't be happier with the support she has received. We highly recommend them to any family looking for caring, professional, and engaging swimming instructors.

Googlesquad are fantastsic!
The whole Team at Googlesquad are amazing, so helpful, approachable and professional. We have been going for years and my sons swimming had developed vastly. We have had a number of teachers over the years, Adam, Taia, Juliette and Alex, all of whom were superb. They are able to show and convey the skills and techniques in a way that resonates and is actionable and buildable through their drills. This year they also arranged a Gala, which was not only great fun but a valuable learning experience. Alex works with my son as an individual and focuses on his specific needs in a really impactful way, despite him being in a group, its a real skill and much appreciated!

If you want your kids to learn to swim properly!
We used other swimming lesson provider's in the past and our children just didn’t really show any improvement. After just a few terms with Goggle Squad and my 5yo and 3yo can swim! The older one can do proper front crawl, not just doggy paddle! Their progress has been amazing and I really rate the small class sizes so the children don’t get bored waiting! I recommend Goggle Squad to anyone. And a special thank you to Jakob for being a perfect balance of firm but fun!

The place to go for swimming....
Our son's swimming has come on leaps and bounds since he's been at Gogglesquad. Jacob has been fantastic (as are all the team) - encouraging and supportive both in and out of the pool. Swimming lessons are a highlight of the week! Thank you Gogglesquad.

Amazing improvement due to great teaching
The improvement my daughter has made in the last six months with Goggle Squad is amazing! Both Jakob and Mark have been amazing teachers and have given her a lot more confidence in the water.
